The Beautiful and the Damned is the first book in the Ace of Spades MC Series by Aleisha Maree and M. Kristine. This is a multifaceted story full of emotion, violence, shocking scenes, danger, action, adventure, shoot outs, explosions, suspense, biker wars, secrets, angst, forbidden love, chemistry, intensity, tension, alpha males, bad boys, dodgy dealings, rivalry, and lots more. This is not a light, fluffy read- it’s a raw and gritty story that will pluck at your heartstrings…. and the sexy scenes are HOT!
We meet Viper (Luca) and Senna ( as well as the rest of the cast)- they are such great characters- really well developed with complex personalities, quirks, and flaws. This makes the whole story very realistic and believable.
The story is told from a first person, duel perspective- which really gives the reader an immersive experience. The story gives some past perspectives as well- which builds the backstory and lets us get to know the character’s even better.
The story is very detailed and descriptive- building vivid images that sets the stage and brings the story to life. From the characters appearances, to the ‘visual’ tour of the clubhouse, origins of the club, road trips, landmarks, views, interactions, action, violence, ‘business, sexy scenes, and emotive elements- the attention to detail was first rate.
I can’t wait to continue the series and discover more from these interesting characters.

Luca Warren aka Viper is the enforcer for the Ace of Spades MC, having been born into the club life it was his destiny. Loving and protecting Senna came naturally to him from a young age. Senna Austin is one of the club princesses along with her twin sister Saylor. Both have unrequited love and both are fed up and miserable with their situations.

Luca is a tormented character, on the one hand he recognises his love for Senna and it is absolute but on the other hand she is off limits and he tries to respect his president’s wishes. Honourable, diligent and caring are just some of his qualities yet he is also Viper who is hot-tempered and in his role as enforcer... violent. I liked him and found myself feeling sorry for him and Senna.

Senna is a young, feisty redhead who seems to be more mature than her years, growing up in the club would do this I suppose. Yet her moments of immaturity, and I tried to remind myself of her young age, drove me nuts! Her love for Luca is very real though.

Behind the passionate romance is the tension and drama of the story, which is high and does raise your level of fear. It is also unpredictable and bam suddenly things are full on, I loved it. 😂 This story has you feeling so many emotions but the one main one is hope!

I’m already looking forward to reading the next book in this series but be warned the ending of this book is a cliffhanger!

So hot action packed with twist and turns and all gritty people
Viper (Luca)grew up in the club senna is a club princess from the first day viper has looked out for Senna but nothing could ever happen until it did
He’s claims to be dark and senna claims to be his light so what happens read it so awesome

Luca aka “Viper” is the enforcer for the Ace of Spades, and the son of the VP. Senna and her twin sister Saylor as the club princess’ and the daughters of the president, and therefore off limits. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, yet Viper is haunted by demons, and at the same time wants to respect his President. This is a beautifully written flawless story which had me totally captivated throughout this additive page turner and I cannot wait to read more from this talented duo of authors, and after that ending, hope it is not a long wait for #2. I highly recommend this for all MC lovers.

I really enjoyed the characters and plot in this book.

Sadly for me, the editing issues detracted from the overall enjoyment. Viper and Senna’s story also ended on a cliffhanger. Cliffhangers are not my preferred choice unless I have the complete series ready to read but that’s my personal choice.

Oh, where to start you put Aleisha Maree and M. Kristine together and you have a The Beautiful and the Damned. These two authors brought to life of the two main characters on the page. Luca a.k.a Viper the son of the VP of the MC and Senna the daughter of the Prez together you've got fireworks. Viper is the clubs enforcer with demons because of the things he has to do for the club. Senna is a festive redhead that needs a good spanking half the time. There a lot of side characters but these are the main two in this storyline. Viper is older then Senna but he has loved her for her whole life but neither one wants to or can say anything. The life in MC have rules that are not broken not even when you are the Prez and VP children. Viper uses his place as the clubs enforcer to help his broken heart. Senna can see though his pain to the real man that she loves. This is a fantastic book there is sex and violence but there is also love and devotion. I myself can't wait for the next book in this series that these two wonderful authors put together. It will be a wild ride!

Wow! What a beginning to a series... Luca and Senna's story is anything but an easy one and it will hold your attention from the first page until the last last... these characters are so well written, I know I should say more about the characters and the story but I honestly believe it's one of those stories you have to experience for yourself, and I highly recommend you do.... I can't wait for the next installment in this series... but be warned, it does end of a cliffhanger...
