Product Description

This is a stand alone, NA, erotic romance. 18+ only

I was invisible, until they saw me...

When circumstance forced me and the Jacob twins to spend two weeks of the summer together, the bond we formed would impact us all, altering our lives.
Fate, entwining us forever.
They became my best friends, my family, my first love.
With their love came their father’s hate!
Love is powerful but also painful and destructive when it’s torn between three people. When my mother’s reputation and their father’s vile actions damage that love, that friendship, it changes the dynamics of our trio setting me on a path of love, loss and impossible decisions.

Jared the beautiful rogue, who pushed her limits, opened her eyes and owned her heart. Their love was powerful, everlasting… until he abandoned her. Justin, loyal and true, picked her up when she was left fragmented. He made a place for himself in her heart and would fight to keep it.
When both twins come in and out of Meadows life, leaving damage and hurt in their wake, will she ever choose one or the other, or leave them both without the beats in their heart?…

5.0 out of 5 stars Bad blood indeed. Bad reputation. Bad fate. Vindictive and destructive. Twins-a different kind of love. 27 October 2015

It's an easy story to get whisked away in. The story contains three main characters: the twins- Jarod and Justin and then Meadow. Meadow lives with her mother who is labeled the promiscuous whore.
The story deals with Meadow falling under the same label as her mother. The twins are identical yet different. Meadow is stuck in the middle and torn between her feelings for these twins.
This story will take you on an unforgettable journey that will have you biting your nails with eagerness. Meadow gets herself stuck into some shady situations at the hands of the twins father.
Ker Dukey gives you the best synopsis for her story. To add anymore would take away from the journey. She stated it best with setting the tone for how her story is going to play out. Meadow will be torn between the friendship, love, and loss of the twins. Meadow will be damaged by her mothers reputation. Meadow will also suffer the wrath of the twins father whose hate has no boundaries. The twins themselves are played and pulled into their fathers vindictive and destructive game of hate.
Meadows is in such a predicament between Justin and Jacob.

2.0 out of 5 stars Depressing 9 November 2015

I put off writing this review because the book bummed me out so much. I like real romances, romances where people act like people and have real flaws. But this is the story of how a woman puts up with abuse and mistreatment from virtually every man that she encounters, including the two men who claim to love her. Scratch that. ESPECIALLY the two men who claim to love her. And instead of finding some way through to and building a better life, a life including respect, for herself and her children, she learns to embrace it, like she shouldn't expect anything better. It's truly disheartening to see how much she is willing to endure to gain such a dubious prize, the affection of a petty criminal who thinks nothing of calling her names and is willing to physically assult people whose children misbehave (he knocks out a man's tooth after the man's son misbehaves in nursery school).

When the book begins, Meadow is a young teenager. She befriends classmates Jared and Justin (who are identical twins). Over the years, she is romantically involved with both of them. They're completely immeshed in a dysfunctional and ridiculously melodramatic love triangle. As a result, by the time the three reach adulthood, the brothers cannot be in the same room without physically assaulting each other. Add to this cringeworthy song lyrics (Meadow is a lyricist), a refusal to ever practice safe sex, and a cartoonishly over-the-top bad guy. Meadow values herself so little, it's hard to imagine a HEA for her that doesn't involve years of therapy and cutting these men out of her life. Instead, she embraces being treated like a human trash bag. Jared's biker buddies joke about passing her around? No, don't worry. Jared says that aren't that bad. Jared explodes with verbal abuse whenever there is a misunderstanding? Oh, but he got a tattoo for you, so it must be love.

Note to author: identical twins are identical because they have the same DNA. Paternity tests determine paternity by comparing the DNA of the potential father to that of the child. A paternity test would be useless for determining which identical twin fathered someone's children. Yet another reason why Meadow should buy some condoms already.

3.0 out of 5 stars disappointed and baffled 27 June 2014

I have no idea who is giving this book all of these 5 star ratings! This story has a lot of potential but is in desperate need of editing. The author clearly had a knack for creating characters and and crafting plots but the multitude of errors in spelling, formatting and basic grammar were too much for me. I may never know how this book ends because my emotional investment in the characters was no match for the sloppy writing. I'm insulted that anyone finds it appropriate to charge 2.99 for this book.
3.0 out of 5 stars Lovely prose, but a plot that just wasn't for me. 23 January 2017

I'm a little torn about this book. In so many ways it was good, but some aspects of the story didn't appeal to me personally. Because of that, I chose to review it based on the writing style, which was mostly good. I did see some grammar errors throughout, although nothing horrible. Mostly a lack of commas or em dashes around specific phrases. There were a few typos, but those happen to every author.

As for the story, I loved the first part, and then it turned dark. My problem wasn't the degradation of characters, but how the heroine became a limp noodle. She waited for everyone to do things to her instead of being proactive, all while acting a little whiney. If she'd just blurted out the truth, on so many occasions, she would have saved herself a lot of trouble, and I hate that old and tired trope.

So, if you like a love triangle, with beautiful language and lovely prose, and don't mind the main female character being a bit weak, then this book is for you.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!!!!! 12 December 2014

I tried to stay away from love triangles since I read "Taking Chances" by Molly McAdams.
If you haven't read that book it is a gut wrenching beautiful read.

This book maybe be a love triangle in a way, but it's not as heart wrenching because from the get go you know where Meadow's heart is. The three form this amazing friendship but Jared and Meadow have always had more in common. When their dad does things that make Jared turn his back on Meadow, she is completely crushed. Justin too has always loved Meadow and now that Jared is gone he is left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. By doing so, he cemented his place in her heart. Just when Justin and Meadow are going to take the next step in their relationship Jared shows up and blows it all to hell. Throughout this journey, they come in and out of Meadows life and stay just long enough for her to open back up then outside forces creep in and tear it all up. This may seem like a battle for Meadow's heart, but there is one moment when she and Justin get together that I knew her heart and soul belonged to Jared. For this reason, she is quick to run back to Jared whenever he shows up. As the years go by there's a life changing event for Meadow so when the men comeback into her life it's not just her heart she needs to protect. This time Jared takes a stand and refuses to let Meadow go. Things get scary as his dad decides to take matters into his own hands, and then there's Justin to deal with. Some hot steamy, juicy sex scenes. The ending was fantastic.
