From the Back Cover
From the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Wait for You
Do Teresa and Jase have a real shot at getting together or will life get in the way?
Teresa Hamilton is having a rough year--she's in love with her big brother's best friend, but he hasn't spoken to her since they shared a truly amazing, mind-blowing, life-changing kiss. Then she got out of a terrible relationship. Now an injury is threatening to end her dance career for good. It's time for plan B: college. And maybe she'll have a chance to convince Jase that what they have together is real.
Jase Winstead has a huge secret that he's not telling anyone--especially not his best friend's incredibly beautiful sister. Even though he and Teresa shared the hottest kiss of his life, he knows that his responsibilities must take priority. He certainly doesn't have time for a relationship. But it doesn't help that all he can think about is kissing the one girl who could ruin everything for him.
As they're thrown together more and more, Jase and Teresa can't keep denying their feelings for each other. But a familiar danger looms and tragedy strikes. As the campus recovers, the star-crossed couple must decide what they're willing to risk to be together and what they're willing to lose if they're not. . . .

I fell in love with Jase and Tess and right from the beginning.
What Tess has to go through in this book is terrifying and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. But I loved her strength!! She kept on going and never took all the right hooks life threw at her, she ducked and swerved and came back fighting.
Jase was her rock, he helped her to understand that not all things in life are her fault and decisions made by other people are their choices and their consequences!! He did have a lapse in his perfect exterior but luckily he righted that wrong quickly. He is so remarkable of a character that I only hope and pray that Jlyn rights his side of the story, just like she wrote Cams. I would love to be inside that head of his!!
Thank you so much for this wonderfully powerful book, it was truly amazing!!

Be With Me follows our characters Teresa Hamilton and Jase Winstead. Now, anyone who's familiar with Wait For You will know that Teresa is Cam's younger sister and Jase is one of his friends. I honestly can't even tell you guys how excited for this book I was. Not only was I going to find out more about Teresa, I was also still going to see Cam and Avery (I just love those two so much)!
Be With Me didn't live up to Wait For You for me, but I still really loved it. Teresa has torn her ACL so is being forced to take a break from dancing for a while and see how everything works out. She's been hung up on Jase ever since he kissed her, and she's going to do whatever she can to convince him they can be together. Jase has a lot of responsibilities in his life and he's also got a huge secret that he doesn't want to tell anyone. He's doesn't have time for a relationship, but he can't get a certain girl out of his head. Jase and Teresa are constantly thrown together and it's only a matter of time before they can't deny their feelings anymore.
I loved finally getting to hear from Teresa. After hearing everything she'd been through from Cam in Wait For You, I was definitely intrigued to see what Teresa thought. Honestly, I just wanted to give this girl a hug throughout most of this book. She was taken advantage of, her confidence was knocked, but she's such a tough character. She still has moments when she blames herself, but she manages to overcome that and realise that it wasn't her fault. I can't imagine how awful it would be to suffer an injury that stops you doing something you love, but I managed to get an insight into it from Teresa. She's such a strong character and manages to stay together even after all the horrific things she goes through in this book. I just loved her characters.
And then we have Jase. Well, Jase is definitely swoon-worthy, but he could be a real ass sometimes. I understood where Jase was coming from most of the time, but he didn't have to be such a jerk about it. Jase has got a lot going on in his personal life and he and his close family are keeping a massive secret, and Jase doesn't want anyone to find out. Jase is scared of what people will think when they found out his secret, so I did understand why he tried to stay away from Tess. Jase is a sweetheart, but he could be a real jerk sometimes.
I adored Jase and Tess together, but they were constantly on the rocks because of Jase. Most of the time I just wanted to give Jase a slap and knock some sense into him. Tess clearly loved him but Jase was so scared of her finding out his secret that he wasn't even willing to give her a chance for most of the book. He really needed some sense knocked into him. But I did really love Tess and Jase together. They definitely had chemistry.
I really loved the storyline of this one. I really enjoyed getting an insight into Teresa's life and getting to see her make some tough decisions. I also enjoyed seeing Jase battle with his secret and his past. And then out of no where came this massive shocking and emotional twist that gave the last 1/3 of the book a completely different feel. It became darker and more intense, and I really loved that. I was shocked and horrified, but I still really enjoyed it.
The ending was sweet and adorable (just like the end of any J Lynn book) and it had me smiling like an idiot. I honestly can't wait for Stay With Me now and the other 3 books in the series (another 3!). September better hurry up.

I'll talk about what I liked first. The writing as ever is superb. I loved that we got to see Cam and Avery some more and those scenes lifted the story for me. We were introduced to Calla and I like her, which is good considering I know the next book is a story about her life. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like a series that didn't center on the same main character all the time, but I have to admit that I'm loving that aspect of it now. Not only do we get to see other characters, we're still kept connected with the original characters, so bonus points for that.
I liked Teresa/Tess as an MC, though I wanted to slap her on many occasions for being such a bloody doormat. Now I can understand it to a point given her past, but the amount of times Jase kicks her to the kerb, and she willingly takes him back was ridiculous.
Onto Jase. I quite liked the sound of him in Wait for You but I hated him in this book. He's a total douche for the way he treats Tess, blowing hot and cold on a near daily basis! I get that he has issues, but that's no excuse for the way he treats a girl that he professes to care about. Quite literally, he made me want to hurl. He also seemed so arrogant about his looks and his ability to attract women who he never even kisses - oh please, give me a break. Though to be honest it's what they say about hookers, and if the shoe fits.....
The scene where they finally got together properly made my blood boil. I actually felt like throwing the book at the wall, but I persevered, the whole time thinking WTF? in my head. I don't want to give too much away, but he's dumped Tess again, she has a near-death experience and then he's all up in her and she lets him!! Previously he is all like " it has to be the right time to do it" and now he couldn't care less about that. Uugghh.
I felt this plot was very weak. I predicted everything that happened, and I mean everything. So there were no surprises to add to the anticipation.
Overall I was disappointed with this book, but because I absolutely adore Jennifer I'm giving it three stars. I won't be rereading this one.

Tess and Jase shared a kiss a year ago that's the only contact they've had since then. But Tess's knee injury means she can't dance at the moment, so she now finds herself face to face with Jase on a fairly regular basis at the same college.
First of all I'd like to say that overall this is a well written romance with characters that it's easy to feel a connection with. Both Jase and Tess come with baggage, I guessed Jase's secret immediately. Jase is a really emotional guy, and at times this really ticks Tess off. He does blow a bit hot and cold with her. Culminating in him doing something that was the cowards way out IMO. Luckily the author manages to redeem him. Tess did stand up to Jase, but ultimately she could never resist him, I did not think of this as a flaw in her character, because he was pretty irresistible when he turned on the charm. This is an emotional read with many twists and turns, it also has a very dramatic sub plot that runs alongside Tess and Jase's story. This gave the book a lot more depth. The characters from the first book all feature and play their part in this. Cam gets to play the protective big brother, at times he might have been a tad OTT with that. All round a pretty good read.

Be With Me is like a sucker punch of emotion weaving the sweet and the sexy while incorporating some very sensitive issues. I loved Tess's narrative voice and how incredibly strong she was emotionally. With everything she has had to cope with in her young life I wouldn't blame her if she wanted to go into hibernation. I love how close she is to Cam, and how she has adopted a sisterly role to Avery. The continuation of their story was an added bonus in this book :)
While, for me, some things were very obvious in relation to the plot, their delivery is the outstanding feature. It makes you feel empathy for all characters concerned. At times I wanted to shake Jase but understood that it in order for him to open up he had to achieve closure in his own way.
Be With Me is a read-in-one-sitting no matter what time it is (3am sounds familiar) book while simultaneously swooning and sobbing. Prepare yourselves ;)
