With more than 65 million players worldwide, the Battlefield series has consistently been praised by critics for its world-class multiplayer gameplay, and is recognized as the only game that allows players to own land, sea and air. Developed by DICE, the premiere game production studio in Sweden, the latest instalment is Battlefield 4, with a story that takes the player through a covert mission to evacuate VIPs from Shanghai. China is in turmoil and the mission inadvertently ignites a global conflict. The player is forced to navigate through chaos and the squad, a small band of unlikely heroes, is welded together as they fight to save the final hope for peace. With dynamic, destructible environments, epic vehicular combat, and the chaos of all-out war, Battlefield 4 gives you the freedom to do more and be more for an unrivaled entertainment experience.

Starting with interesting action, then moving on to develop and introduce interesting and exciting characters, it had me willing it not to end.
Brilliantly written, despite a couple of misprints, and accurate to the Battlefield universe created by DICE and EA, even if you've never played the game, I'm sure it'll please you.
Also worth reading Battlefield 3 book - just as good.
