An excellent ending for a great SeriesReviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 July 2018
After travelling the universe fighting many battles to bring Freedom to everyone we have the final battle. The good side have many races and alien species in their midst and the original characters have grown old. I like the way that my favourite characters from the earlier books return to take part in the finale. Here the author has brought us another epic battle with lots of mystery and new gadgetry to satisfy those of us who like the battles. However, he starts to address the problem of winning the peace that follows every war. Of course one needs to be a very clever diplomat to solve the complexities of peace but the author comes up with unexpected solutions, as one would expect. He leaves me with a mystery, why did Arun and Springer have a holiday in Elstow in ancient times? Elstow is a real village in England close to Bedford, I have been there, which featured in an earlier novel where giant lizards were driving about in cars. Was the Human Legion series just a part of a larger canvas? If so I wonder what the author has planned for us next! This was an excellent series and the conclusion deserves my 5 *

I'm very disappointed , very disappointed that I've finished this very readable story, I've read all books in the series and enjoyed it from the beginning to end.If you want a gripping tale of great characters , action, intrigue and vivid battles then this is for you !
Loved this seriesReviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 July 2018
Loved this series. Did wonder if it was going to be a lazy finish as time travel had been introduced in part one of "The Battle of Earth", but I needn't have worried. A nice bit of twisting and turning for a god and open ending. Roll on the next phase in this universe.

Nice end to the sagaReviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 August 2018
As always well written and descriptive and a nice end to t h e saga but it felt a little confused about what direction the story line was going to take. Still I loved the series and how Tim writes. Just waiting for his next book
