This is a well designed book with a lot of great recipes in it. I’ll be sending mine back - only because I already have a lot of authentic Thai cookbooks, and there were not enough new recipes for me to warrant keeping this.
I think this would also be a difficult book to start with for someone who is new to Thai cooking. It does not have the encyclopedic like background information on everything you need to start cooking Thai food like the first PokPok book. Nor does it have the ‘easy for beginners’ explanations found in the first SheSimmers and Hotthaikitchen books. It’s really in between.
But if you have mastered the beginner stuff and have a decent knowledge of ingredients this could be a good addition to your shelf.
