This third book in the Henry Blythe series takes us on young Henry's journey as he embarks on life and love at University. Filled with antics that we have come to expect from Author Paul Adams, Henry spends his time striving to find that perfect woman. We get POV from the women as well as Henry, a good move here. All in all a very readable comedy romp, full of sex and very little study.

This is the third book in the Henry Blythe series and I think it is up there with the first and possibly the best so far. This book could be read as a standalone novel, without having read the first two, but there are definitely a few ironies that you'd miss if you weren't familiar with books 1 (Time Was) and 2 (Blythe's Spirit). The story is told from the POV of the women in Henry's life, as well as seen through his eyes. It's an unusual narrative style, but really engaging once you get used to it.
I think anyone who as been to college will relate to the sex and drugs and rock and roll theme that makes up the majority of the book. Henry Blythe - The college years? But part 2 and 3 take him into the grown up world of London in the 1980s and 90s and deals with his struggle to find his place in the world and find himself 'The Prefect Woman'.
A really well told story that had me in fits at times.
