In terms of the product, it was delivered promptly just in time for her birthday. And the hardcover finish on the book is nice.
Definitely recommend this for young readers.
My nine year old read this book in a couple of days as it is a real page turner. I then began reading it myself.
David Walliams has a way of touching on sensitive issues without making it too complicated. I would recommend these for guided reading-it provides a good opportinity for open discussion amongst children, their peers and adults.
It’s not written particularly well. For instance ‘the boy’ or ‘the man’ Was over used and becAme a sign that the writer was lazy or in a rush. I was shocked to find out that some elements was not suitable for a 7 year old.
Will be sticking to classic children books from now on.
One of the reasons I chose 5 stars because of the type of book it is. The love between father and son was incredible
The ending was amazing for a story for children. It shows that sometimes you need to have a fresh start.
I would recommend it to 8-12 year olds

He has not read it yet as it is new but I'm sure it will be as entertaining as the other books
