I really enjoyed this book, it was sad that got Dante kidnapped and we don't know what happened to Tommy. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I can't wait to see how Jared, melcher and the organization go down. I kinda like Giselle except for the things she is doing, I think she should actually join auroral and the gang instead of threatening them.

4.0 out of 5 stars Still good but... 8 July 2014
By Kelly Belen - Published on

The story continues and finally some things are out of the bag.
Although I gave this book 4 stars, it is starting to lose some of it's appeal. The story lost some of it's grit. I expected a bigger punch; better fighting technique from Aurora & Val considering what they've been through, but sadly I feel it was a bit lacking in that department.
I like that secrets are out of the bag, even if they were long overdue but still satisfying. It dragged around the middle but kicked up speed towards the end.
I wish there was more sizzle if you get my meaning, the book opened up to an eye-bugging scene that left me expecting more but that was just about it :(
I was happy with the budding camaraderie between two individuals so I'm a bit disappointed to see it dwindle towards the end of this book, But all is not lost as other friendships have been rekindled.
*sigh* unfortunately I have to wait till fall for what I'm assuming is the last book of the series, and now I'm stuck trying to find a read to keep me settled till the release date :/
5.0 out of 5 stars Bloody Awesome!! 3 March 2015

Aurora Sky had to go to boot camp, once she passed book camp she was able to go home, back to Alaska. Once she gets back to see her family, she starts college and goes on some missions also known as wine tasting. Dante does the wine tasting, he has to play the part of a vampire while Aurora and Valerie gather information on everything.
In the mean time Dante gets close with Aurora, he wants them to be a couple, Aurora isn't really sure if that is what she wants. They kiss and make out. Aurora also finds out who her roommate is, and she is not a happy camper, Noel Harper.
Aurora still believes Fane and Noel hooked up together, and she doesn't want anything to do with them.
Jared' s not in this book, but is mentioned a few times. But the vampire girl, Giselle makes an appearance in the book.
Dante goes missing, Tommy Moe his dog goes missing too.

All in all, I really liked the book, it was well written. The author (Nikki) new where she was going with this book, and she delivered. I gave this a five star.
4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet freaking gravy 20 January 2015

Sweet freaking gravy! I couldn’t get enough of Aurora in this installment.

I love how Aurora grows throughout the series. She’s learning more about herself, and the people surrounding her. I was a hardcore Dante fan, but after reading Bad Blood, I think I’m a bigger fan of Fane. Because…… reasons! I also want to know that I still don’t care for Valerie. She drives me freaking crazy with being such a bitch about everything! And talk about a complete turn around with Noel. Daaaannnng. I don’t care about the drama between her and Aurora. I still adore her.

There isn’t as much action in Bad Blood, but we find out some very interesting things. Puzzle pieces are finally starting to fit together, and some of my suspicions were kind of answered. So many revelations. I also love that Aurora finds those she can trust, and those she can’t.

I’m going to end this with, I think we need a short story about Dante during this time period…. Because I want to know how he’s dealing with everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved every word 4 June 2014

Aurora is back and better than ever! Things start to come to a head in this one so there are a lot of things left unresolved but what a way to go into book 4 when it's released. Aurora has been gone for 6 months and comes back still not knowing the truth about Fane and Noel. Dante is back and better than ever! Valerie is well, Valerie! I was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down.
5.0 out of 5 stars What does the future hold for Aurora and friends? 10 August 2014

Aurora has returned from bootcamp, Gotten her GED and is ready to attend the local university The dream of Notre Dame go forever. Aurora must work under cover and attend fancy parties for vampires. Its called a "Tasting' were the blood is infused with different types of wines. She share a home with a roommates who turns out to be Nikki, who Aurora had found with fane. Valerie and Aurora have begun to work together to fight against an arch enemy. And Aurora is considered a prime suspect in a vampire killing that should not have happened.Aurora is typical in someways of a young woman just beginning to live on her own, attend college, hopefully the boyfriend thing will work out and she must succeed in her new assignment. I have enjoyed getting to know the main characters and find myself urging them on and watching them develop.I cannot wait till the next Aurora Sky book. I am anxious for Aurora and Valerie to combat the rally bad ass bad guy. Will Aurora continue to desire Fane or will Dane finally touch her heart? What becomes of Nikki? I have become very involved in this story. It just keeps getting better!
