Rock Star? Angie Morelli was not one. Growing up next to Power Station’s drummer didn’t guarantee a taste of the limelight, unless you count catcalls at low paying gigs in seedy bars and second-rate venues. She was okay with that; working her ass off at her dad’s mechanic shop during the day meant she could live her dream at night. She didn’t need Power Station waltzing back into her life, Jason Irwin had done enough damage the first time. Could she let go of her hurt for a chance of hitting the big time?

A one-night stand right before Jason Irwin left for his big break was no big deal. Except it wasn’t just any girl— it was Angie, Troy’s hot but young and inexperienced neighbor. It should never have happened, so best he pretend like it didn’t. Ten years later he remembered exactly why he went down that road. She was even hotter and she was also pissed as hell. Sounded like the perfect combination to invite on their world tour.

The road was not the place for history. It was bound to get ugly.

I have just finished Back Stage, the third and final installment of the Power Station series. When I turned the page and saw "acknowledgments" I swear my heart dipped. The Power Station journey is over and I am sad. So much of this book is highlighted, passages I will go back and read again now before I go to bed.

The story of Jase and Angie starts well before Power Station made it big so Angie is not a star struck fan, in fact Angie couldn't be any less a fan of Jase if she tried. Circumstances mean the two have to get over their issues for the sake of their bands. What develops is a funny, sexy and emotional journey.

Angie is sassy, rock n roll chick who is not looking forward to spending time with her childhood friends. She is tough and sarcastic on the outside, but inside is a different story. "Don't flatter yourself, moody bitch is my resting face".

Jase has always been the mysterious band member. In his words "FYI, no one gives a rats ass about the keyboard player". But there is more to it than that. Angie and the reader finally get all the pieces to the Jase puzzle and find out that there is more to the man than his cool and calm exterior shows.

For me, the standout feature of this book is the writing style. Gephart uses humour so beautifully. It is subtle, yet had me in stitches on several occasions; " I could dress it any I wanted, but it was still going to be like entering RuPaul into the Miss America contest. All the fu#k!ng glitter in the world wasn't going to hide the fu#k!ng dick"
I give Back Stage 5 stars. Thanks for a fun and sexy ride with the Power Station crew T. Gephart. I am excited to follow along and enjoy your next endeavors.

NOOOOOOO! It can't be! Please say this isn't the last Power Station book.
I fell in love with Power Station back in the Lexi series and can't believe it's the end.
I've loved all the Power Station books and this is no exception.
Jason is the quiet keyboard player that keeps to himself because he doesn't want his past brought up. Angie is the girl he slept with once but when her band Black Addiction agrees to be their opening support band he's forced to face that part of his past. Once they sort their history out everything looks great....too great. Of course this only means trouble ahead.
I will miss reading about these guys but maybe just maybe they could pop up again later. ;)

This is it. The end already. Whether I'm ready or not. (Which I'm not) it's sad but with the news of the next series possibly in works where the Power station characters are bound to make appearances, I can live with that.
I totally love Angie, rocking lead singer, bad ass, who sometimes suffers with unintentionally voicing her thoughts and has a hilarious habit of making things awkward for herself. How could I not? And her best friend Rusty- I seriously want one! Can't wait to see more of these two.

And Jase... aww the poor thing, how could you not love the poor, tortured guy with a fractured heart of gold.

I totally adored the epilogue, seeing these rockers all domesticated was sweet and such a happy ending.

This is the third book in the Power Station Series where we follow the story of band member Jason Irwin, who is the Drummer in rock bank Power Station....... Before Jason leaves to get his big break with Power Station he has a one night stand with his next door neighbour Angie Morelli....... Angie was in love with Jason and so much wanted to spend the night with him..... I'm sure she was hopeing for more.... for Jason it was a one night stand before he left for his big break and a night he pretended didn't happen.........

Ten years later while Power Station are on a high they need a a new support band to join them on their tour...... so they decide that Angie's band is the way to go......the problem is trying to talk Angie into going on tour with them..... she still cannot forgive Jason for the way he treated her 10 year earlier... and Jason finds that she's even hotter and sexier than he remembered.....

The interaction between Jason and Angie is HOT.... sparks fly.... there's twists.... there's turns....... I absolutely loved this story......

I received an ARC from the Author for a fair review... this did not affect my thoughts on this book at all..... I also purchased a copy of this books.
