Product Description

Your date with Bachelor #3 includes champagne and chocolate in the limo that collects you, a helicopter tour or Marietta and the surrounding mountains and valleys, and dinner at a five star restaurant in Great Falls. While oil baron Linc Brady wines and dines you, a maid service will completely clean your home.

Who could resist this tempting offer, but Meg Canon plans to do just that. She is only home to clean out her childhood bedroom for her brother’s new step-daughter and then she’s outta her childhood small town and back to her life in Chicago, but when she meets the sexy, renegade millionaire while she’s stuck in the snow, sparks fly and Meg is tempted to maybe stay a little longer.

Linc Brady is new in town and happy to help a kid in need, but this? Technically he doesn’t owe Meg a damned thing after she bids on him, after setting him up for the Marietta bachelor auction in the first place, but her high-class city polish is his fatal weakness and makes her impossible to forget. When she agrees to come home with him, he makes it clear he’s a confirmed bachelor. This is a one-night thing. One night that turns into nine months and maybe a lifetime...?

What would one night hurt? Meg Canon could have a little fun while she was back in town to pack her belongings from her old bedroom. The bachelor auction was for a good cause. The men were hot and the planned dates sounded fun. She had her eyes set on Linc Brady when she first got into town and ended up skidding off the road. He was there to pull her out.

Linc was new in town. How the heck did he get roped into being one of the town’s bachelors up for bid? Sure it was to help out a little boy. But this was definitely not his style. He considers himself a confirmed bachelor. He supposes he could handle the high class news reporter who bid on him for one night.

When the date ends up with them in bed something very unexpected happens. Meg ends up pregnant. How will Linc take the news?

This was a fun and quick book. The topic of an unexpected pregnancy is nothing new to romance books. But the story is written well and makes it worth reading.

**I received an ARC in exchange for my writing**

Meg "tricks" Linc into entering the bachelor auction. They're playing a game of cat and mouse, have different priorities in life and life's goals, but they can't deny the attraction. One night of passion, and they go back to separate lives. But, surprise, mother nature has other plans. Can they make co-parenting work? Taking it to the next level isn't something they planned, but as they spend more time together, they can't deny the chemistry, budding love, and the issues keeping them apart fall by the wayside one at a time. Sometimes, unplanned miracles are just what two people need in life and love.

Meg is the reason Linc ended up in the bachelor auction. So the night of the auction she decides to bid on him, and ends up in a bidding war with Linc himself. Sparks fly, and after one fun night together she goes back to Chicago. Only to end up with a surprise a couple months later.
I really liked Linc and how he cared more about doing something with his life and working with his hands rather than just making money. His shock at Meg's news was understandable. I really enjoyed how neither one wanted to trap the other or get anything out of it, other than what was best for the baby.
This was a wonderful story, and I especially loved the ending.

I'm enjoying the Montana Born Bachelor Auction series. The Bachelor's Baby is the third story in the series. Dani Collins' contribution is a fun, quick read. I loved the chemistry between Meg and Linc. I really enjoyed this one-night that develops into a relationship.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bachelor Auctions and Babies 31 March 2015
By Eileen Wells - Published on Amazon.com

The Bachelor’s Baby by Dani Collins (Bachelor Auction series #3) is wonderful story about two people not sure what will happen with their futures or where that future might lead them. Meg returns to Marietta to clean out her old room. While there she is struggling with her stalker, her abandonment issues as an adopted baby and her need to find her “real parents”. Linc moves to Marietta to farm after tiring of running oil rigs all over the world.

I love these two characters. Their chemistry is off the charts. Meg is funny and crazy. I love how she played a prank on Linc which ends up getting him involved in the bachelor auction. Feeling bad, Meg bids on him and he surprises her by starting a bidding war with her. What they thought would be a night of passion ended up becoming an unbreakable connection.

I love how this series of The Bachelor Auction is built around helping a young boy who suffered severe, life altering injuries and his single mom, a local kindergarten teacher. Dani Collins writes from the heart. Her story and situations are realistic with just the right amount of heartache and the perfect amount of romance. This is a well written story with characters that are entertaining and heartwarming. I highly recommend this book as Ms. Collins demonstrated her expertise in keeping the reader engaged and unable to put the book down. I plan to read more by Dani Collins and look forward to her next book.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Bachelor Meets His Match 20 March 2015

Meg Canon is back in Marietta for just a short time. She's wants to enjoy herself. It's good to be away from her hectic job and from her overzealous fan. As luck would have it, she's here for the Bachelor Auction. She bids on Lincoln Brady. It's an apology for ruffling his feathers. Now he's bidding on himself and the game is on. Where will it lead them? Meg is an enigma. She seems to be feisty and independent but she's hurting inside. She was abandoned by her mother. She wants to find her and know. Lincoln is an Alpha male who wants things his way. He's won't back down from this woman or let her in his life. Neither want commitment. Their attraction is just sexual. Or is there more to it? I enjoyed the banter and the sizzling attraction between Meg and Linc. This story is touching and emotional especially when she told him about her pregnancy. Meg and Linc are great characters. It was easy to care for them. I was hooked on The Bachelor's Baby. I wanted them to find love and happiness together. Dani Collins wrote a story that touched me emotionally. I love reading all the Marietta stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars Right off the bat they have amazing chemistry and attraction 9 March 2015

Meg Canon, big shot news anchor is home for some R&R, to escape a little, and to clear her things from her family home for her brother's soon to be step daughter. Linc Brady is new in town and adjusting to small town life. Right off the bat they have amazing chemistry and attraction.
Both Meg and Linc are a bit to cocky for their own good so they end up having a great game of tug a war for power. Even with this game they have going they still can't get past the chemistry and decide to have one night of great sex.
Next thing you know, Meg shows up a few months later pregnant.
Meg and Linc are a blast together, they keep trying to best one another and it makes for a great and fun read. 5 Stars beccareview.com
