I have mixed feelings about these sunglasses. They are so cute, they came in a very nice case, and hold to the baby's head. My baby didn't even noticed she was wearing them. , UNTIL we took them of to clean its lenses. The lensese were foggy on the inside, and my baby was super sweaty around her eyes. My husband said it was because the glasses wrap around the baby's eyes, and fit so tight they don't let air through... so, I'm returning them :(
I bought this style of sunglasses because my son is 4 months old and I want to be able to adjust them and keep using them for the next year or two. They came with a nice case that I didn't expect, but makes it easy to throw into my purse or diaper bag and not worry about them getting scratched. He wears them without protest but I have to readjust them often when he is in his stroller because they get twisted on his face. I have found it challenging to find the right tightness of the band so the glasses stay in place but don't dig into his skin. Overall I am happy with this purchase and think I just need to play with them more to get the right fit.
Great sunglasses for little ones. Adjustable and not too tight. My 6 mo old son has a rather large head and these fit well. We make them right enough to stay in place but loose enough that he can pull them off if he doesn’t. We have tried other sunglasses and he took them right off. These he leaves on. They also come with a nice carrying case for the diaper bag.
I bought a few sunglasses to try on my 18 month old. I only wanted to get sunglasses that had an adjustable elastic band behind it for a better fit and didn't want to lose any sunglassess. I ended up keeping the Kiddus Sunglasses for 2-5 y.o. as I liked the wrap around design of the sunglasses so that no sunlight could enter (vs. the Vintage lenses were flatter which let sunlight creep in on the side and wasn't as good of a fit) and having the plastic frames that sit on the ear (Vs. Baby Solo which only had an elastic band which would slide around more). My toddler keeps his sunglasses on and gets complements on how cool he looks with them on. I mean how stinkin cute are these baby sunglasses?! The strap on the back is really stretchy so it doesn’t bother my baby and you can adjust to fit. Love the carrying case it comes with too. They are good quality sunglasses as well and do the job of protecting his eyes. Love this product!
I don't expect them to last three years, as I can't seem to keep sunglasses for that long, but my five moth old doesn't hate them, and they have room in the band for continued growth. As an added benefit they look pretty cool on the baby's face.
I was initially very impressed with these sunglasses due to the strap being very adjustable. However, we only used these one time for about 20 minutes.
After we took them off our baby's head, we noticed that they where digging into his nose pretty good. We put them back into the case, and decided we would try them again later. Maybe we could loosen them a bit and have them stay on?
Upon trying to use them the second time we noticed the lens was scuffed so bad you couldnt see out of it. These where only out of the case for the 20 minutes of use in the pool, and then went straight back into the case as they where taken off. If these sunglasses scratch that easily while in the case then these are pretty useless for a baby application. Waste of $20.
This picture is the first and last time he wore them. Such a shame because they fit and stay on. He just pulls them off every single time I put it on him. And trust me, I tried million times to make him keep them. A little too small for his face, 1 1/2 yo, he is a little bit bigger than average boy. So, wonderful sunglasses, it is not you, it is him. He is a stubborn little human refusing to wear anything on his head.
