I was delighted to receive an ARC (an Advance Reader Copy) of Brody Cody and the Haunted Vacation House. I read Book 1 and enjoyed reading more of Brody and his friends' adventures in Book 2. The Blue Mountains is the perfect setting for children to explore and especially if there is a 'ghost'!
I particularly like the way Toni deals with blended families and how children may feel when they discover they will be having a brother or sister. It isn't easy transitioning from being an only child to having to share parental love so well done Toni for touching on this subject.
Easy to read and I know my grandson who is almost 7 would enjoy the story. Who doesn't love a spooky tale? Well done to Toni Pike.
