Reed Scott broke Tegan Reynolds heart when he left her at the altar, but now eight years later, she finds she has to work with him by teaching him the choreography for the new dance movie he's starring in. Determined to resist Reed, Tegan does everything she can to keep things professional. However, Reed doesn't make things easy for her. Will she give him a second chance or will she walk away before she gets hurt again?
Having absolutely loved the first book of this series, I couldn't wait to read to read this book and I've got to say that Ms. Robinson pens another remarkable read for this series in this book where second chances are possible if the heroine can forgive the hero; the main characters were fantastic due to their back stories, their past history and everything they go through that made me think these two didn't stand a chance with the tough obstacles they had to overcome, but had me liking that everything worked out for the best; and the dialogue was a wonderful combination of intense moments due to what happened to the heroine in the past and how Reece is partly to blame for what happened. Then again, who is to say that what happened to the heroine wouldn't have happened anyway?
Both the main characters were well-developed and had me loving their growing relationship, as they find their way back to each other. Not that it's easy for the heroine to forgive and forget and be able to move forward. Will Reed find a way to prove she's the one for him and always has been? Moreover, the heroine was resilient, courageous and I liked how far she's come. No way was she going to let what happened to her get the better of her. I also liked that she gave the hero another chance, even though he hurt her badly in the past that led her to making a life-changing decision. However, I liked that she took chances throughout this story to make her dreams finally come true, especially since the hero has such faith in her. Will she get everything she wants?
While the hero, he's confident, talented and I liked how determined he was to win the heroine over, even though that isn't easy because of what he did to her that ended up turning Tegan's life upside down. However, in saying that, I liked that he didn't give up on his second chance with Tegan, as he's changed and realized that they can achieve their dreams together instead of believing that either of them would be holding the other back from achieving everything they've ever wanted to achieve. Yet, what I liked most of all about the hero is that he would do anything to help the heroine. The way he pushes her to follow her dreams; dreams she long ago never thought she'd never be able to achieve after what happened to her had me liking the hero more than I did when he was first introduced.
Overall, Ms. Robinson has delivered a fantastic read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was powerful; the romance hot and full of passion; and the ending had me loving what brings these two back together and had me enjoying how happy the hero was in regards to something the heroine tells him. I would recommend Bare by Sarah Robinson, if you enjoy second chance romances, Hollywood romances, or books by authors AL Jackson, Adriana Locke, Samantha Towle and Vi Keeland.

I enjoyed the push and pull between the main characters but even after I finished I still didn’t like Reed sorry I know some readers will be screaming at me. I liked Teagan but I was so hoping she would kick him to the curb or even just make him work a bit harder and longer to prove himself.
Even though this wasn’t my favourite of the series I’m still looking forward to the next one.

Second Chances Are Worth It
Reviewed in the United States on 8 May 2018Verified Purchase
What happens when you get that second chance to make it right. That is what happens when Reed Scott & Teagan Reynolds are brought together on a movie shoot.
Teagan is trying to get back to a life that was put on hold due to unforeseen serious circumstances what she never expects is seeing Reed Scott again. There is a lot of bitterness and heartache when it comes to him but when you are going to be spending a lot of time together again is your heart ready to give this a second chance that is the question Teagan has to ask.
Reed Scott a highly acclaimed actor has been labeled the bad boy in Hollywood but when your past comes barreling back into your life you have to reevaluate everything you have done up until this point.
You can’t help see the chemistry between Reed & Teagan it just pours off the pages but can all back heartache get put aside and forgiven to give it that second chance that is going to be the biggest question.
They will definitely have to go through many ups and downs but watching them get to HEA will definitely be worth the ride.

A really good read
Reviewed in the United States on 12 May 2018Verified Purchase
I have to admit that lack of/mis-communication drives me potty but then again, without it, we wouldn't have had a story!!
Bare is the 2nd book in the Exposed series by Sarah Robinson and while I didn't enjoy it just as much as Nudes it was still a really good read.
I liked how Teagan and Reed reconnected and that they still felt as strongly about each other as they used to. Their chemistry was smokin' hot and it was great seeing them reconnect and look forward instead of remaining in the past - though at times I found Teagan's stalling a little wearing (even when I got why she initially felt as she did, Reed - to my mind - more than settled her concerns as the story progressed, I just wished she would have dithered less)
Personally, I did feel that things were a little predictable when it came to how certain issues would pan out to an extent - not within their relationship - nevertheless, Sarah managed to keep me interested and wanting to see if this couple could work things out to the extent that I finished the book pretty quickly (though that may also have been because the story ended at the 80% mark on my kindle, which I wasn't expecting).
Overall, as I've said, it was a really good read. I loved the epilogue, we met up with Aria & Ben again and it was good to see how they were doing and we were introduced to the younger Reynolds sister, at which point the springboard for Simone's story in Sheer was introduced - I'm really looking forward to more in the series.
I'm giving Bare 3.9* stars.

Captivating second chance romance
Reviewed in the United States on 8 May 2018Verified Purchase
A captivating book that pulled me in and wouldn’t let me go. After reading Nudes, I knew Sarah Robinson was capable of writing a strong heroine, and she did it again with Teagan Reynolds in Bare. I loved how Teagan had not only overcome the adversity she had faced 8 years prior, but had built a career in spite of it, and through the course of the book, she even managed to revive her earlier dreams. I also really enjoyed seeing Teagan’s interactions with her family and revisiting great supporting characters like Steele, the makeup artist. The way Sarah Robinson described the dancing really allowed me to visualize it in my head, even though I’ve never been a dancer. She has a way of fully drawing me into every aspect of the story. The one problem I had with the book was that Reed seemed to want to play the martyr. He made decisions about their relationship, both in the past and in the present, because he thought he knew what was best for Teagan, but he never bothered to discuss those decisions with her. He justified his actions by telling himself he didn’t want to hold her back, and didn’t fully take into account how badly his actions hurt her. I just wanted to shake him. He did redeem himself in the end, but at times, the journey seemed never ending.

What a fantastic second chance romance story
Reviewed in the United States on 11 May 2018Verified Purchase
5 STARS FOR BARE!! What a fantastic second chance romance story. I loved Teagan and Reed's story and they are waiting to tell you what really happened. The story has all the feels and beautifully told. Sarah Robinson writes the best characters I have ever read, strong women and sexy hot men that you can't get out of your head. Do yourself a favor and read this series, you will love it. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley.
