Review
"The sad irony of the title of Becky Powell's book, Awful Beautiful Life, is not lost on those of us who know her and her children. Becky's bravery in the face of tragedy is an inspiration to us all."--Tim McClure, Author, Don't Mess with Texas
Becky Powell is a strong lady who has integrity, honesty, and unequivocal faith. Becky is a dedicated mother who teaches her children these values. When Becky faced a dark chapter in her life, it took all of these qualities to see her through to the light at the end of the tunnel. We are all grateful to have Becky in our lives. She is a role model that we should all strive to become. Becky, well done our friend!
--Linda and Michael McCaul

Becky Powell is an amazing woman who faced catastrophe with unimaginable strength. This is an enjoyable read that will help you face the, (relative to hers), small challenges you are likely to ever face. God bless the Powell family.

Encouraging and Powerful Testimony

Wow. Picking up the book last night before bed was a mistake, as I couldn't put it down. This book is more than a memoir, it is a first-hand account of the power of a good God who can and does provide faithfully. If you need to be reminded of that truth, and who doesn't--read this book.

A MUST READ......
Reviewed in the United States on 11 June 2020Verified Purchase
This is an amazing book, a cannot put down book. Read the book in a madder of days (would been sooner if uninterrupted, lol). I've since prayed for Becky and her family, though this was several years ago. I felt like I was pulled into the situation right then and there while reading the book. The book touched my life at times, simply God speaking to me. I'm sad the book is over, I want to know what they have been doing since the end of the book, what are they doing today. lol I've shared the book, so they too can be touched.
