Product description

Product Description

I'm safe.

And so is my family, all because of the sacrifice Stone made to save us. I don't know what has happened to Stone or Walker, but I believe in my heart that Stone will do everything he can to make sure Walker never comes near us again. I know he's out there, and I can not allow myself to think otherwise. He will come back to me, to us.

So until that happens, and knowing that, I need to work to make my family, and myself whole again. Life can bring unexpected joys and sorrows, and it's up to me to begin the healing process for us all. I need to be strong and that's what I plan to do. I'm no longer a victim because Stone showed me that I was so much more.

Life is worth living.

My name is Quinn, and as I awaken from my dark past, and violent present, I will start to live.

The future has never been so bright.

Authors Note: This is a dark romance. Due to content, this book should be read only by those over the age of 18.

Awakening by D. M. Earl is book 3, making it the conclusion of The Journals trilogy.

The threat against Quinn, Stone and everyone on their side is not over. With Walkers death comes a 'hit' out on them all and with new characters introduced to cause friction and harm.

Quinn and Stone are put through the ringer again as they fight against the newest threat and also their feelings. Once again, we have confronting and intense events and no subject is off limits resulting in maximum impact for the reader.

I'm so glad with how this series wrapped up though. The conclusion is satisfying and well deserved. Even as it is riddled with threats, emotion, drama and finally a Happily Ever After. This series is not for the faint hearted and, due to its content, is definitely not for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To This Amazing Series! 29 January 2017
By The Literary Vixen - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
The Journals Trilogy is a favorite series of mine so when I knew Awakening was releasing soon, I was excited, happy, and sad to read it. I have become attached to many of these characters and it is hard to say goodbye.

This story did not disappoint! It was both thrilling and suspenseful. This whole series took you on a crazy ride and it was a ride you didn’t want to get off of.

D.M. did an amazing job in closing out this series. Both the story and the characters were well written. I am suffering from a book hangover but I regret nothing. I give this 5 stars!
5.0 out of 5 stars Awakening by D.M Earl a breath-taking final chapter of the Journal Trilogy 28 January 2017
By Sara Oxo - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
Awakening by D.M Earl a breath-taking final chapter of the Journal Trilogy. Quinn thinks that she is finally safe, her Stone and the kids can come out of hiding, and start to live a normal life. But we all know normal isn’t what it’s cracked up to be. Quinn also knows that she is only as safe as she feels with Stone as she knows he will do everything in his power to make sure Walker never comes back into their lives again. She knows he would do anything for her, but is everything enough, as he is only human and he has bosses him and his team must report to.
The important thing is Quinn no longer sees herself as a victim, and she is a major part of her kid’s life again, that’s the important thing, with her kids and Stone she can face anything. Those green eyes that have been haunting her for the last 10years and giving her something to be angry at, may finally be giving her something to be happy about.
D.M. Earl writes an amazing story; these three books have had me all over the shop. I have never been so scared for another human who is only real between two pages, and I have never wanted someone to survive and get the happiness they deserve. I couldn’t wish for a better story and cant praise it highly enough.
