I agree with a previous comment regarding proof reading & errors. This book has the most errors in any book I have read, I strongly recommend that you return this book to the author for a review & proof reading.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very badly written book 22 March 2016
By sleepless - Published on Amazon.com

I only got to about 12% into this book, and just can't keep going due to the terrible grammar and sentence construction. I got sick of having to read some sentences 2 or 3 times to work out just what the author was trying to say. The story may well be a good one. If so - PLEASE get a proofreader to edit the whole book, and reissue it.

this is a wonderful story encompassing the life history of a family throughout the generations. I found it very interesting and colourful in its description of each members" chosen path in life. Very well worth the read and I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning about our history and how well all coped with life in general
1.0 out of 5 stars The grammar is so poor, I have had trouble reading 13 May 2017

The grammar is so poor, I have had trouble reading. Where was an editor? How was this book published. I rarely say something negative bout another writer, but this errors were truly egregious.

4.0 out of 5 stars Post as Bev ripley 28 October 2016

Great timeline of a family. They all participated in making their country better. Honor came out of an unfortunate situation.
2.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a boring read. 27 July 2016
By David Shuter - Published on Amazon.com

A slightly boring read, particularly the lengthy diatribe about what the various family members got up to during the war years. This section of the book felt more like padding than interesting reading.
