At First Light by Mari Madison
There is a roller coaster ride of emotions when dealing with PTSD. The affliction plays a key role in this contemporary romance of a pair of journalists in San Diego.
This is the third in the series that takes place at this TV station in San Diego. It can be read as a stand alone.
I admire the heroine in this romance. She is supportive, and has significant patience with the hero. She does research on the effects of PTSD and even attends group meetings on her own so she can better understand what's happening with him.
Touching and a bit sad because there is no fast cure for the issue. But it's a romance in the end, so hopeful.
