Incredible game. Only just finished main story line 130 hours in. I haven’t played an open world game like this ever. Love that the game stuck with the Viking original storyline from real life. Best game I’ve played in 15 years easily. I’ve played some games in my time and I place this one in the top 3. I wished all game company’s put the time and effort into the main storyline like this game.

There's so much to do in this game that you can spend many more hours in this game compared to other current games, maybe with the exception of the latest far cry?

A stepdown from Origins & Odyssey. Solid 8/10 game. Sometimes a game can be too big for it's own good. The story is decent, but it goes on and on forever. Eivor is a good protagonist but she can't compare to Kassandra or Bayek. I didn't enjoy the setting anywhere near as much as Egypt or Greece. The main story will take you around 60 hours or 70 hours to beat.
In terms of criticisms, I did not enjoy the World Events (that replaced regular side-missions from previous entries) as they don't get added to your quest log on what to do next & they are are all super short & forgettable and the tedium going for the Platinum as you have to 100% each of the 21 regions (Origins was bad enough in this regard). The skill tree is terrible compared to Odyssey since you have to purchase a million passive skills. The system to find and unlock abilities is underwhelming since you won't be able to find the ones you want without a guide. Eventually, you'll just find some that you like and use them for the entire game even if you can't find the upgraded version. Whereas in Odyssey, you could just unlock them outright.
I appreciate the various free DLC added since launch (especially The Forgotten Saga & The Isle of Skye) and I'm looking forward to Eivor's story ending (The Last Chapter). In terms of paid DLC, Wraith of the Druids set in Ireland & Siege of Paris set in France offer more of the same. The France DLC offers black box assassination missions like Unity but the horses max speed is significantly reduced in this area which makes getting around annoying. Lastly, Dawn of Ragnarok expands on Odin's story but I'd recommend skipping it as it wasn't fun.

immersive gameplay, big world and that's what i like, the combat is improved from Odyssey but it's longer than Odyssey which can be tedious. 30 hours so far and im really enjoying it. Thank you amazon for super fast shipping as always and Valhalla is also great game !

The first thing that comes to mind thinking about this game. It is too damn long. Although the graphic quality is good and decent fighting mechanic. The game may just prove to be boring at times and story may be too long to finish. Ubisoft has slowly expanded the map size of each assassin creed game they progress, but it becomes too crazy to explore. I thought assassin creed odyssey was long and has a big map but this game is just on a whole other level. Even for me as a die hard assassin creed fan, this just disappoints me. I would not recommend getting this game if you are looking to play it casually.
