Product Description

A year has passed since the Tanaan dragon Jaax and his human ward, Jahrra, came to live within the protected boundaries of Lidien, the great City of Light. But even the safest places in Ethöes can harbor enemies, and one cannot hide from one’s fate forever.

At the onset of yet another departure, Jahrra realizes there is more to this next step in her journey than she previously thought. With Lidien fading in the distance, she understands she is finally leaving behind not just her friends, but also her childhood and a life once filled with dreams and illusions of safety and love. The road ahead is perilous, and Jahrra knows she will face many trials before coming to stand before her destiny. With each passing day, the threat of the Crimson King grows stronger, and Jaax and their allies will need the help of the legendary Creecemind dragons if they wish to overthrow their common enemy.

Before they can present their case before the king of the Creecemind, however, Jahrra and her Tanaan guardian must make a perilous journey north through the mountains, where danger and uncertainty lurks in every crevasse and behind the face of everyone they meet. Their trust in others must be bartered carefully, for the Tyrant’s influence stretches far and wide. And even if they do reach Nimbronia, the frozen City in the Clouds, their troubles may not be over. If the king of the ice dragons cannot be convinced to join their cause, then their fate, and the fate of Ethöes, may very well be sealed in sorrow and defeat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Recommended to all the pre-teens out there as a great learning tale of what it means to have Character 5 January 2017

Absolutely love it! Can't wait to read the final battle and the victory of Good over Evil!

Depicts all the traits of character a young girl needs to grow into a strong woman warrior, who is also capable of long lasting true friendships and has the asset of meeting strong role models.
Intelligence and cunning are strengths capable of defeating brute force. Dragons as teachers are the edge Jarrah needs to hone her skills to perfection. Knowledge from ancient books after school every evening, riding her dear friend semequin horse, our heroine is living a great beginning in life before having to face the demands and danger of her destiny.

So there are Wars and and violence insinuated in the word "war" in the series of The Legend of Oescienne, but not with dramatic and gory details. There are as many chapters of memories spent studying, training on the practice field, mischiefs as young children are wont to while growing up if they want to prove their worth to themselves and others...

A clean, inspiring, informative, moral, magical and emotional story I strongly recommend to all public.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Plot Thickens 24 May 2016

In the quest to stop the Crimson King Jarrha, Dirvet, Ellyesce, and Jaaxx are betrayed by a supposed ally, the great walled city falls to the Red Flange and our heroes must get the Creecemind dragons to agree to join the coalition.
5.0 out of 5 stars Another riviting part of the ongoing adventure 30 May 2016

In the war against evil there is little respite for Jaxx and Jahrra and their companions. Allies are fiercely loyal and the enemy is unutterably evil as are his minions. The end is drawing near and all the players take their places. The most curious parts are played by those who love themselves and their own small pocket of power more than they love their world. Some of those perish while there is still hope that some will join the fight before all is lost. Another winner Jenna. Well written, breathtaking, on the edge of your seat action. The epilogue is actually heartbreaking. Can't wait for the end of the tale.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great story 25 July 2016

The Ascending: This book draws you in, you become invested in the characters. The premise for the series is different, the characters unique, the story telling first rate. This is the first new book in this series in a while. I am going to re-read the whole series again, it is that good. Thank you Jenna, for this series and for the Other world series. I am totally enjoying them both and looking forward to the next installments. No spoilers. If you like a great story by a great storyteller read these books.
3.0 out of 5 stars Would I recommend this ebook saga? I don’t thinks so 18 July 2016

Interesting story.
I would have enjoyed it more if the author would have stop describing everything to painful details true out the books. The only way I cud get true reading till the end by turning the pages where ever she got lost in describing nature surrounding the players of someone’s thoughts.

I am surprised with a large entourage of beta readers none has bothered to point out this huge mistake to the author.
Would I recommend this ebook saga? I don’t thinks so.
