Product Description

"This timeless gem of wisdom by James Allen should be on the bookshelf of everyone who is striving to achieve a life of prosperity and happiness."

This is a special edition of James Allen’s most enduring book, As a Man Thinketh. It has been expanded to include insightful commentary on Allen's key teachings by a leading author in the motivational field, and carefully edited to enhance the book's clarity for modern readers.

In these pages, you will learn how to use the power of thought to attract success and happiness into your life. You'll discover that you are the creator of the conditions in your everyday living, and you can change those conditions, for better or worse, by changing how you think. Renowned self-help authors such as Dale Carnegie and Norman Vincent Peale were strongly influenced by James Allen’s writings, and Inc. Magazine praised his book as "one of the top 10 motivational books of all time." Success coach Tony Robbins says it is his favorite book, and he has read it a dozen times.

This edition was developed for a course at Virtual University taught by Richard De A’Morelli, an author/editor who has been writing and teaching in the metaphysical field for many years. Most versions of Allen's book are mere reprints of his 1903 work; but this unique collector's edition includes the full text of the book, restyled and edited for modern readers, plus insightful tutorials exploring the deeper meaning of Allen's teachings, chapter by chapter. A bonus section offers a collection of daily meditations from Allen's book, Meditations for Every Day of the Year.

The wisdom of James Allen provides a foundation for living well and being happy in today’s chaotic and stressful world. Whether this is your first exposure to this profoundly inspiring author or you are already a fan, this Classic Edition is must reading. Add it to your library, and give a copy to a family member or friend who could benefit from a wonderfully uplifting message of hope and empowerment.

About the Author

James Allen was a British author of philosophical books in the early 1900s. He is best known for his book, "As a Man Thinketh," published in 1903. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in the motivational/self-help movement. His down-to-earth message of positive thinking and self-empowerment has spread around the world and influenced the writings of contemporary authors, including Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power of Positive Thinking" and Joshua Liebman's "Peace of Mind."

Richard De A'Morelli published his first article in a national magazine at age 14 and signed a multi-book contract with a traditional publisher at 18. Since then, he has authored fifteen nonfiction books, including two bestsellers in the self-help field and two best-selling titles on English grammar. He also has published three novels under pseudonyms. Beyond writing, Richard has thirty years of experience as a professional editor. He was a bylined editorial staff member to the late Irving Wallace, one of the top-selling authors of the twentieth century, and he has held senior editor and managing editor positions with book and magazine publishers. His writer clients have affectionately nicknamed him Jedi Editor for his work on books that include "Apocalypse Orphan" by Tim Allen, an Amazon science-fiction best seller in 2016, and "Eden's Serum" by Angelique Anderson. Richard worked a five-year stint as a journalist in southern California, publishing more than 500 newspaper, tabloid, and magazine features under his byline. He taught journalism and creative writing at Los Angeles Valley College and Learning Tree University in Southern California, and he developed twelve online writing courses which he taught online at Virtual University. Richard's recent books include: "Elements of Style 2017," "Elements of Style: Classic Edition," "Quick & Easy English Punctuation," and "Live Well. Be Happy."
