Sparks fly when Corinna meets Irish millionaire Sean Delaney who enters a charade to help his sister that involves deceiving a dying man. Full of guilt, Sean receives support from Corinna. She just thinks he's hot. There are a few laughs due to Griffin, Corinna's brother who is trying to suppress his unnatural lust for his 'cousin'. Griffin is the funniest character in this book.
I won't give away more of the plot(s) but it's a very satisfying story with unpredictable twists. There are some touching moments so keep the tissues on stand-by. Another thing I like is the historical detail. Without labouring the fact she has done a bucket of research, Lauren Royal provides an interesting glimpse of England's artistic community in the regency era.

I have loved every single one of this author's novels, but I think this might be my favorite--or at least tied for my favorite with 3 or 4 others. :)
Throughout the stories, the Chase family has been a focal point. What a wonderful, warm family. I feel like I know each an every one of them thanks to the superb job that Ms. Royal does creating them and the worlds they live in.
The last of the Chase sisters to marry, Corinna has always been more interested in her art than in finding a husband, much to her older brother's chagrin. He wants nothing more than to have them all married off, checking that item off his "to-do" list of responsibilities. A chance encounter at a museum with two men, one of which (but she's not sure which one) is a famous artist, starts pulling Corinna's thoughts elsewhere. Then when another chance encounter puts her face to face with her self-designated "Greek God" the inevitable begins to happen.
Sean Delaney is a good man. Responsible, honorable, loyal, and a self-made wealthy businessman. How could anyone resist?
Not me. Heavens, no. Add the fact that he's Irish and speaks with a sensual lilt to his voice, I fell head over heels for him right along with Corinna. Resistance is futile.
