I absolutely loved reading about Artemis and Hunter!
Artemis wants to help rid crime, the way she goes about it, is not your typical way of handling it. Well, she's a Goddess after all, why should she not help and what is the problem Hunter not wanting to accept her help??
Hunter James is a cop and a lone wolf, having suddenly this woman turn up , a pretty good looking one at that too, and declaring she's his new partner... She's not even a cop, but that is not all that is strange about her...
The characters are fantastically well written, their interaction is brilliant and having a Goddess turned self appointed cop is just utterly hilarious.
Artemis living up to her God status does not disappoint.
In contrast Hunter is just the down right good cop, rather working alone than being stuck with a partner of any kind.
If you're looking for a great all around and entertaining PNR book with Goddess steam and a mystery to solve, look no further!
Tami Lund , you found yourself another fan!
themselves. She stops off in Chicago where she meets the very handsome Detective Hunter James. She is determined to help him out with his cases, He is equally determined that she is not. But the Fates have other ideas, as is often the case. She continues to 'help' out and it gets serious when someone tries to kill Hunter. Hunter has not had a relationship for a long time and he is certainly NOT going to have one with the kooky Artemis who keeps trying to convince him she is the Goddess of the hunt. This is a fun story with lots of laughs around how she keeps trying to convince him he needs her help. Very enjoyable read. So loving this series and meeting new authors.
I received an ARC of this book and I voluntarily leave this honest review.
Love the play on words.
Great action and story.
I’m reading these all out of order, but they are so good.
