Most helpful customer reviews on Amazon.com
two of them have been found overnight with oil leaked out of them, and at the same time, two or more of the rubber feet had come out of the holes......so somehow the leaking seems connected to the feet issue. I am guessing...but it is purely as guess.....that something causes the feet to fall out and that causes the unit to vibrate unreasonably and that causes the leak, but again, it is a guess.
the amount of oil leaked is substantial...I would estimate it at 3 or so tablespoons.
that said, when these units work properly, they are effective and all but silent.....and the price is reasonable, so I have been willing to brave additional purchases.
I have previously asked the vendor (here) if spare parts...the little tubes in that instance, although my question was not connected to any defect, were available and was told "no"........., so i had no choice but to return the bad units, but true to form, amazon has been very helpful.
I remain hopeful for the ones I have, and am continuing to use them.
