Seems genuine in original Apple packaging and works well. But it is supposedly for Malaysia market. Not sure about Apple's warranty terms about products from overseas markets. Seller should have disclosed this important info.

The very well known airpod pro is a quality product in terms of design and sound quality. It has also very high call quality. However, the airpod pro had some significant issues that forced me to pick Samsung galaxy buds plus. One was uncomfortable (after wearing for more than an hour I felt pain inside my ear, even with soft ear tip) and second was very short battery life of about 5 hours. These were my personal experience with the airpod pro.

I’m very pleased with this genuine Apple product. It came well packed and in the original APPLE wrapping. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for genuine APPLE air buds.

Great portable earphones that work especially nicely with other Apple devices. Only wish the battery life was a bit better but otherwise they are great.

it turns out to be Apple’s purchase date registration issue
Reviewed in Singapore on 3 June 2020Verified Purchase
Update:
It turns out that the AppleCare registration and the failure for warranty is because of the invalid purchase date. Apple needs the receipt to validate the purchase date before warranty registration. The product itself is very good, just the AppleCare registration is kind of troublesome.
Watch out if you are buying from Amazon.sg. The unit is not for Singapore, it is for Malaysia. So if you buy it and use in Singapore, your warranty claims will be in Malaysia, and you are not eligible to buy AppleCare.

Poor show Amazon Singapore.

The AirPods did not charge properly and when we contacted Apple to see if they could fix them, they told us they were out of warranty and wanted to charge us $80. Seems like your product was old stock and faulty so we have returned it. Seems you sold something as a new product, which wasn’t which is a misrepresentation. I doubt we will buy anything from Amazon Singapore again as you have lost our trust.

A good buy
Reviewed in Singapore on 19 October 2020Verified Purchase
when you enter the purchase date on Apple itself, you’ll probably encounter an issue BUT just give Apple a call and they will be able to resolve this for you from their backend. You’ll also be able to purchase Apple care and it’s still about $50-100 cheaper than buying from Apple itself.
Amazon purchase: ($279+49 Apple care)
Apple purchase: ($379+49 Apple care)
the registration issue is easily resolved within 5-15 mins and you save $50-100. Worth it.

Warranty Activation issue
Reviewed in Singapore on 16 October 2020Verified Purchase
The product is good. Not here to mention the product.
It is extremely difficult to activate warranty. After searching internet for hours + checking on apple website, nothing helps.
The last thing I can do is to schedule a callback from Apple to see if I can update the purchase date.
Kind of disappointed that purchases from Amazon is giving me problems with higher price paid, compared to Qoo10, it only costs $269 for Qoo10 (at the time of my purchase from Amazon was $300).
My friend bought from Qoo10 with lower price and trouble-free warranty activation.
Think twice if you are buying.

Further update:
Apple SG advised that the “Technical Telephone Support: Expired” is incorrect. They will make the changes. Separately, I provided order date and purchased AppleCare+ at S$49.
———————-
Like some others in this chain of reviews, I have read the reviews with reservation about the warranty. After a good number of repeated reads, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. Long story short, the firmware was automatically updated (yes, you can't force the update manually) when unit is in charge, and phone nearby. There's no warranty registration per se. The Airpods Pro will get automatically registered when it is paired to your Apple ID. Yet, I was still feeling the need for that surety. So, i looked up "check apple coverage". Typed in my S/No, and there it says that I have coverage till Mar 2022. While there is this part that says that "Telephone Technical Support: Expired", I am fine as long as I have coverage for limited warranty. I kept a copy of the receipt (PDF) from Amazon site. Enjoy the ANC and Spatial!
