#1 Bestselling Romantic Comedy
#10 Overall Bestseller on Amazon

Lucas Thatcher has always been my enemy.

It’s been a decade since I’ve seen him, but our years on opposite coasts were less of a lasting peace and more of a temporary cease-fire. Now that we’re both back in our small town, I know Lucas expects the same old war, but I’ve changed since high school—and from the looks of it, so has he.

The arrogant boy who was my teenage rival is now a chiseled doctor armed with intimidating good looks. He is Lucas Thatcher 2.0, the new and improved version I’ll be competing with in the workplace instead of the schoolyard.

I’m not worried; I’m a doctor now too, board-certified and sexy in a white coat. It almost feels like winning will be too easy—until Lucas unveils a tactic neither of us has ever used before: sexual warfare.

The day he pushes me up against the wall and presses his lips to mine, I can’t help but wonder if he’s filling me with passion or poison. Every fleeting touch is perfect torture. With every stolen kiss, my walls crumble a little more. After all this time, Lucas knows exactly how to strip me of my defenses, but I’m in no hurry to surrender.

Knowing thy enemy has never felt so good.

This is my 9th!! RS Grey book, and I've loved them all. So it's no surprise that I adored this enemies to lovers romantic comedy. The writing is flawless. The banter fun and fast and the town of Hamilton sweet. This book made me laugh, made me roll my eyes, and made me swoon. Daisy Bell is the funniest heroine RS Grey has ever created and I loved her.
Starting off with the OTT, ridiculous, hilarious opening chapter... where we meet our neurotic leading lady Dr Daisy Bell returning to her hometown of Hamilton as the local doctor at her welcome home party... she receives 3 dozen daisies (which give her hives!) and the note in identifiable hand writing with the message...
'Roses are red, Daisy is you, I heard you came back, and I did too.'
She freaks out to say the least. As she explains
'Lucas Thatcher and I have been in competition with each other since day one. Yes, the actual day one, the day on which we were born, all of 58 minutes apart. I crawled first. He spoke first. I walked first and he potty-trained first. And so it went.
Obviously infants aren’t born with innate hatred pumping out of their tiny hearts, but I use our births as a starting point because nobody can pinpoint an exact date when our competition began.'
Working with the elderly town doctor, Dr. McCormick she has set herself her dream of owning her own practice- something that is doable working with the elderly doctor that she has known all of her life. She never dreamed that she would also be working with Dr. Lucas Thatcher, her lifelong mortal enemy... who also wants his own practice!
And so the battles begin.. 'Anything You Can Do' is a perfect title for this book I hear in my head “anything you do can, I can do better,”.

Wow 😳 28ys of torment for these two. This is mainly Daisy's POV but as the story progresses we get an insight into Lucas's feelings and at one point it devastated me.
Both are doctors, overly competitive & reunite back in their hometown. So the games begin again but is it onesided? Much of their history is revealed, at times quite funny, others touching.
This is the good, the bad & the ugly.
If you enjoyed this I would suggest reading Frozen by L A Casey.
A highly enjoyable read.

Amazing Five Stars

I was completely excited and thrilled to read and enjoy this most exciting book. Written by new author, R.S. Grey. With this amazingly fun book. I thoroughly adored this most wonderful hilarious characters. This one is a true winner!!

After Daisy finally returning to her home town, Hamilton, Texas after eleven years being away, until she finds her family at home are having a party for her. Whilst Daisy was hiding in her room upstairs scared that her friend Madeleine's brother was there as well. As both of them were so competitive from each other years ago. Neither of them could ever get along.
Now Daisy is a trained Doctor. And so was he.

When receiving flowers from Lucas, her was always devil to her. She becomes frightened. Just knowing that he is in town and is also a doctor as well. Lucy now just does not know what to do!!

I thoroughly enjoy this amazing book. So hilarious, enjoyment and so much romance. This book was so much fun!!

* I recommend this book to everyone!

Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better! The memorable Betty Hutton and Howard Keel version of the song in the classic Hollywood movie, Annie Get Your Gun, is the perfect lead-in to this sweet, charming, over-the-top, tender, hate to love, slow-burn narrative.
This is Daisy and Lucas' story and it's one of a life-long, bitter rivalry. But it's written with a sense of fun and playfulness (with serious, touching and dramatic scenes added for balance). Daisy is a smart, gorgeous, twenty-eight-year old, newly qualified doctor who plans on returning to her hometown to work as a GP. The equally smart and gorgeous Lucas has exactly the same plans, at exactly the same medical practice. And so the antics begin (keep in mind the song's lyrics and you get the picture).
RS Grey writes well in the romcom genre and I gave her 5 stars for achieving her goal of writing an entertaining novel that offered several hours of escapism. I specifically liked the dialogue, clever banter, humour, seductive/electric attraction, reflections, unpacking of the plot and the wonderful character-development (including the secondary characters).
I can recommend Anything You Can Do I Can Do for a really engaging read - another R S Grey book to add to my elibrary.
