Product Description

Mitchell Heston…

I wasn’t proud of the man I’d become – selfish, spoiled, and cynical. Mark Bradley’s reappearance in my life made me want to be a better man. It had been more than two decades since we’d last seen each other and neither of us resembled the kids we used to be. Our lives went in completely different directions and I never thought I’d see him again, let alone hire him as the head of my security team.

The attraction and chemistry between us was immediate and intense, but Mark had built walls around him that I wasn’t able to penetrate. It wasn’t in my nature to accept that I would never have the person I wanted most in life, so I pushed. Mistrust and missteps nearly ruined us before we even had a chance to begin. Then there was the little problem of someone wanting me dead.

Mark “Deacon” Bradley…

Accepting a job working for Mitchell Heston was probably one of the biggest mistakes I’d ever made, but then why did it feel so right? We had nothing in common except a past that neither of us could change. What did I have to offer someone of Mitch’s caliber? He was a wealthy playboy and I was a battle hardened soldier with demons that threatened to ruin any chance of happiness for me. That didn’t stop me from wanting him, regardless of the consequences.

None of my doubts mattered once Mitch’s life was in danger. My sole focus became keeping him safe so that we could explore the feelings that were growing between us. To do that, I would sacrifice anything and protect him by any means necessary.

Any Means Necessary is book 7 in the Fated Hearts series and can be read alone or as part of the series. This book contains sexually explicit material and is intended for adults 18 and older.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mark + Mitch = Deliciousness 21 September 2016

I was so glad to read this book. I have loved this series from the very beginning. My favorite book (to date) of Ms. Walker's is Only You; however, I came to love all the other characters after reading Chasing Mr. Wright and the books/characters that came after. After meeting Mitch in Chasing Mr. Wright, I agree, I wanted to read his story. Then we meet Mark "Deacon" in The Rhythm of Us (Ben and Xavier's story). Again, Deacon was a character I wanted to see have a HEA (you'll have to read the story to get the reason why). To learn these two men have known each other was a wonderful twist. Mark and Mitch were perfect for each other. The back and forth angst and deliberate pain these two threw at each other in the beginning was harsh, but I understood it. Once the BS was out of the way and they started becoming friends again, it was beautiful to see it unfold. Ms. Walker has a wonderful way of letting us get to know her characters, and fall in love with them. And just let me say that Ms. Walker writes a steamy sex scene, especially for those of us who love the M/M genre. Ms. Walker is on my watch list and I immediately download as soon as there is a new book release. Also, her books are often on my re-read list, because they are just that good. My only complaint is that the books don't drop faster.......I highly recommend this series, and I recommend starting at the beginning. Although "Only You" is not considered part of the Fated Heart Series, I would recommend reading it because the MC's show in other books that are in the Fated Heart Series. Trust me, you'll enjoy every one of her books!

5.0 out of 5 stars This book has it all!!! 5 October 2016

Aimee is definitely one of my favorite authors ever. This story is the perfect ending for the Fated Heart stories.

Both Mark "Deacon" and Mitch are two alpha males and their dynamic is really good. At first I disliked Mitch a little because he was acting like a nasty playboy but you come to understand his reasons as well as Mark for not getting involved with him at first.

It has a nice glimpse of how both characters met when they were younger and what happened in their lives to make them hard hearted.

What I loved the most about this book is that you experience they growth and see how they start changing towards each other. It has action, plenty of romance and some angst.

You should definitely get this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Aimee Winner 22 September 2016

As usual Aimee nailed it. I was glad to see that Deacon got his story as I was sad for him in Xavier and Ben's book. I'm glad he's strong enough to handle Mitch and though there were a couple times I wanted to kick him in the jimmies I was able to see him as a lovable human worthy of Deacon instead of the pompous corporate harda** we met in Chasing Mr Wright. I can't wait to see what's next.

Loved Mark and Mitch's story.
Child hood love moving to an adult loving and lasting relationship..
I honestly did not see who the person trying to kill Mitch was until it was revealed.
The bonus with this story is we got a little Vic and Hammer romance too....maybe they need their own book
5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting 4 October 2016

We have another set of characters in the Fated Hearts series that is just as good, if not more exciting than the previous ones.
Mitch and Mark were friends as foster kids but lost touch. Mark is friends with Xavier and Ben who we met in the first books. His job is Head of Security for Mitch. The ties that bind these two are stronger than either knows. And the evil that stalks them is potentially lethal.
I liked these characters very much and with the ties to previous characters these seemed real. I knew that since I liked Ben, and Xavier I would like these guys too. These are great stories that are well written and I hope there's more tales to be told.
