5.0 out of 5 starsOne of the better of the Marvel Franchises

This sequel was even better than the first one with great characters and a decent plot that does not include endless fight scenes with Captain America et al engaged in combat which destroys cities just to highlight the very expensive CGI effort.
Loved the first Ant-Man but this one just felt like it was a little too focused on explaining things we might need to know for the next Avengers and I wasn't really feeling the villain. It was still enjoyable but not sure I'd be interested in a 3rd movie.
Say what you will about this movie, one thing is for certain. The 3D is absolutely mind blowing. In a trend that largely started with Dr Strange and has considerably improved with every additional title since, we now sit here with Marvels latest release - Ant-Man & Wasp 3D.
Having purchased both the 4K and 3D version of this film - there's only one way to truly appreciate what it has to offer, and that's with the 3D disc. This movie gives you the absolute pinnacle of what 3D has to offer. It's like watching a different film altogether when compared to the 4K disc. Beautiful and brilliant 3D throughout every scene, along with amazing depth and great clarity.
Another area of note is audio quality. Enthusiasts and groaned for years about Disney's utter incompetence in taking care with audio, offering lackluster mixes that lack in the low end frequency, seem lifeless and in most cases need to be turned up much higher than other movies. The message seems to be getting through, as audio quality has defiantly seen an improvement on this release, though still not perfect. Don't get me wrong though - the average consumer will find this movies 7.1 DTS-HDMA mix more than adequate.
