Creswell Springs biggest manwhore, Raider Hannigan, one of Angel’s Halo MC’s most notorious members wasn’t for me.

After years of him holding my heart, I had seen the harsh light of my reality.

Raider would never want me or … love me.

With a firm resolve to move on, I wouldn’t give in.

Only one moment of weakness came back to bite me. Now I had a secret.

No one needed to know the depths of it all, especially not him.

Big fan of the Angel's of Halo MC series and was looking forward to Raiders story. I found Quinn and Raiders story to be a little different from the previous books but still loved their journey. Quinn has loved Raider since before she really knew what love was but due to her being best friends with Raider's brother Colt, Raider has pushed her away for years. Quinn was always off limits to Raider due to a warning from his brother. Their story is full of drama, self discovery and trying to fix years of heartache that you have caused the one person you really cared about. As much as I loved this book I will say I needed more for these two and would have to say my only complaint would be that I felt the story ended a little too abruptly for me.

I don't think Terri Anne has written a book that I haven't fallen in love with. From her rockers series to her bikers I love them all. Hope you all enjoy this book as much as I have. Thanks.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed 23 May 2017

I don't even know where to start. Quinn was just sad and pathetic. It didn't matter what Raider had done to her over the years, and he was horrible, she still loved him. Just the fact alone that he slept with not only 1 of her sisters but all 4 for years....that right there should have been the end and time to move on. Kind of nasty that he has now had all 5 sisters. Also would have liked to see more happen to her sisters, I felt nothing really did, it wasn't much of a big deal. What was there really to love about him with everything he has done. She is 25 and has had only 1 kiss because she has always been waiting for him. Women need to open their eyes and get some self confidence, more self respect and know they deserve better. I would have much preferred to see her with Colt. I didn't like that the story felt rushed and unfinished. I am a huge fan of the author and hope the next book is better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not enough of what I wanted and way to much of what I didn't.... 20 May 2017

Eh..21/2 really. I don't like so many POV's in my story. Quinn had to overlook some really cappy, mean spirited behavior from Raider and her skanky sisters.More importantly she didn't have enough of a reaction to the fact he had done ALL her sisters and liked it. She might have been able to get past it but I sure couldn't. Then when he Finally does HER it's horrible and he dosent have a clue? With all his "experience"?!? then all of a sudden he's in love with her and fighting to get her back? Huh? How did that happen? Her super close relationship with his brother is weird. Why are they so close? TAB never shows or explains a bonding moment that could help me to understand how he loves her more that his own sister, so he say. Because I didn't see why I couldn't feel it at all. It just felt uncomfortable to me when Quinn would turn to Colt Instead of Raider. Also, Colts girlfriend thinking about a three some with Quinn and Colt was gross, and all her lies and secrets didn't make me feel anything except a wish Colt gets someone else as his h.

I was very much looking forward to this book, but was seriously let down. Quinn was borderline pathetic to me. What grown woman of 25 waits around for a guy who has made it clear for YEARS he is not interested in her. She has only been kissed by one guy and maybe only one time (can't remember) by the age of 25 because she is saving herself for Raider, who is busy spreading the love to pretty much any woman who is not Quinn, including her sisters. So what if he thinks about Quinn when he's with other women?! Yuck!

Quinn finally wakes up to moving on when Raider wakes up at the same time he is love with Quinn. This is, of course, after he de-virginzes her in a seriously unromantic, selfish way. After YEARS of watching him sleep around, Quinn is skeptical of Raider's turnaround, as any normal person would be. But she only makes him work at convincing her he has actually been in love with her for years, too -- all the while he's be effing hundreds of other women -- within one WEEK.

Seriously, I don't like the message this book is teaching young/teenage women to put their lives on hold for years because the love of their life will eventually wake up and you'll live happily ever after.

I bumped this book up to 2 stars because I'm interested in reading Cole's and Matt's books.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED this book!!! 20 May 2017

I feel like I'm cheating on Hawk & Gracie when I say this but... I think this is my new FAVORITE book of the series! It had everything I love in a book: angst, danger, sexual tension, surprises, a bad boy Hero & a strong heroine. Couldn't. Put. It. Down.

Raider... You reformed manwh***, you. You made me flip my kindle the bird & roll my eyes multiple times BUT... you also made me grin ear-to-ear & swoon like a giggly school girl. I hate that it took you so long to see the special gift that was right in front of you for years but I was thrilled to bits when you pulled your head out of your a** & took notice!

Quinn... You were even stronger than I'd imagined you'd be & I LOVED it! You rocked more than just socks at your new second job (you go, girl!), you managed to stay alive & sane, even after growing up with three troll b****** (you're amazing!) & you have such a kind soul. Yes, being an old lady might be scary at times but your guys' future looks so bright!

I only wish it was longer & had a couple more sex scenes in it! Oh, & I REALLY wish that something more would've happened with Quinn's nasty-a** sisters. They should've been kicked out of the club or met their demise in the explosive "incident" at the end of the book! Hate that Quinn will still have to see those hussies on an almost daily basis!!

Very much looking forward to future books in this series! Colt & Kelli, Matt & Aurora, Italian mobsters & maybe some babies, please? #agirlcandream

3.0 out of 5 stars I know only 3 stars..... 20 May 2017

I was really looking forward to this book but am disappointed. I love The Rockers series and this series started out really good but with the last book and this book it's just been a bit disappointing. I really thought the story between Quinn and Raider could have been more. To many new characters coming into play. I don't like reading about people dying especially when they have been in from the start. Raider have some really redeeming points but overall not much... also hate when they sleep with a characters sister that is just to yuck and lines being crossed for me. Hope the next book is better.
