A must have!
Reviewed in the United States on 13 April 2021Verified Purchase
Not only is this work extremely well written, but Fr. Ephraim presents a plethora of citations of lesser known, well known, early and contemporary Saints and elders. He gives an excellent insight into correct orthodox monasticism and clarifies certain topics. One chapter is better than the next. You can also see that Fr. Ephraim speaks from personal experience and often gives a glimpse into contemporary monasticism by giving personal insight from his own monastic experience. It is a must have for any orthodox (or any) Christian as it would make an excellent addition to a home library.
