Product Description

Everyone wants justice.
That’s what Assistant DA, Lulu Lightly, tells me. “Cathedral City needs you to set things right,” she says. “To rid this place of corruption, once and for all.”
I’d like to rid Lulu Lightly of her clothes. And maybe her moral superiority. But mostly her clothes.
“I want you to fight the good fight with me,” she says.
Hell, yeah. I’m always up for a fight.
“We should stand up and be the voice of the people,” she says.
Sure, I hear voices. Sometimes I even listen to them.
“Figure out what’s good for the City and put it first,” she says.
Oh, honey… what’s good for the City is bad for the people. Trust me, I know. I’m Case Reider—insane Alpha, nefarious inventor, and I understand this town better than anyone.
Cathedral City needs me all right. Just not the way you think.
I’m not the justice you’re looking for, Lulu Lightly.
I’m still the same villain you left behind.
Only now… there’s something very, very wrong with me.

There are few authors out there I have read who can balance uncertainty and doubt and anticipation and all things suspense, alongside a hero who is vulnerable and passionate and a heroine who is strong and determined, with a beautiful romance all swirled in together (and do it well). All this is done seamlessly while filling in a backstory - since this is book 2- AND making it really exciting and grabbing, and just OMG I can't get enough of J A Huss.
The ideas of this series I HAVE NEVER READ ANYTHING LIKE THIS, and the vigilante justice/anti-hero is HOT AF. Not to mention just the absolutely incredible direction the storyline takes. I like to pride myself on deciphering mysteries and then congratulating myself when I nail it EVERY TIME, but Huss be like: "HAVE YOU MET MY BRAIN" (Not an actual quote) I just never see her twists coming. It's like chucking an arm into a chipping machine and having it come out a silk flower. Like WTF.
Seriously. I just fan-girl SO HARD over these books.
Case is SO much more sensitive than I was expecting. No mucking around, no miscommunication, just straight forward and direct, yet also very personal and self-isolating.. yeah it's confusing, right? I CAN'T EXPLAIN AMAZING.
Lulu is.. Sexy and awesome. She is almost like two people, Lady Liberty just can't control herself around Case ;)
Anyway, another BANGER from Husstopia.
Five stars from me, I couldn't fault the mind and talent of this extraordinary author.

JA Huss does it again! Anarchy Missing, book 2 of the Super Alpha series. Just WOW. Whenever I have finish a JA Huss book I have to sleep on it beofre leaving my review, and still I can't put the words together on how awesome this book was but I will try.

In Anarchy Missing we get the story of Super Alpha Case Reider and Lulu lightly. Crazy things are happening in Cathedral City and all evidence points to the Alphas, are they really to blame? Can Lulu aka Lady Justice step out of her comfort zone and believe in the impossible? Can love really conquer the demons inside Case Reider or will the City doom all?? Will justice be served?

It's a SuperVillian series because Superheroes are overated right? Leave out the hotter than hell sexy scenes and you have an action packed sci-fi series full of bossy AI's, Super hot intelligent Alphas kicking ass and blowing stuff up. Whats a good SuperVillian story without things blowing up right?? To get the full story read Anarchy Found, if you have already read it, read it again! Can't wait for the next book!!! This series is amazing, such a talented author who captives the mind and makes you think about what or why or how things happen and you never ending up right because this is JA huss we are talking about!

I know these guys are meant to be supervillains but I've been refusing to call them that since Lincoln's story in Anarchy Found... YES they break the law, live by their own set of rules and are plotting revenge on the people who were in anyway responsible for wjat happened to them when they were children. They still care about their city and right and wrong so I'm still calling them superheroes! If Batman can claim the title, then so can these alphas!

With that said, let's get down to the story which is everything I've come to expect from a JA Huss piece. Only she can weave so many layers into the one story filled with all things suspense, anticipation and uncertainty with a dirty yet sweet romance, making for one exhilirating read.

This is the second in the series and focuses on Case and Lulu.
Case- our hero who is everything Alpha and shows us his vulnerable and passionate side. Something is happening to him as a result of what happened to him in the end of Anarchy Found. No one can figure it out, all the lab tests say he is in peak form, but Case knows... he's changing into something... but what? And who is at fault? His own friends? Something from the experiments on him when they were children that lay dormant now awakening? Is it a delayed "gift" from The Blue Boar? OR is he just going crazy?

and Lulu. Strong and determined, Lulu who fights for justice and what's right, no matter what.
She's only just reunited with Case and really wants to believe he's one of the good guys but someone's systematically attacking the city and all the evidence points to Case and his friends. So what is she going to do? What are they ALL going to do?
Well, you'll have to read it to find out ;)

It doesn't really matter - the Alphas are awesome whichever way you look at it!
This is the story of Case - Deep Cut - & Lulu - Lady Liberty.
Twists and turns at every corner like all good JA Huss books, with an evil super-super villian up against our heroes the super villains. Confusing? Maybe, but then it wouldn't be an Anarchy story if it was predictable!
This is an awesome read and I loved every bit. You should probably read book 1 first (it's awesome, so you should read it any way). If you're into sci-fi/comic book/futuristic style stories with a gothic batman feel and an epic storyline then read this series. If you're not into all that then read it anyway - it's that good.
Another fantastic JA Huss book with an awesome EOBS and if you're not a fan girl like me then you will be once you get to the end!
