Spend your money on a better book. This book promises a lot in its description but fails to deliver. There is some misinformation. For example, pictures of plants are often labeled incorrectly. (I am a botanist and have encountered many of these plants first hand in the field through my work and studies and know the pictures were wrong.) They do not italicize or underline scientific names. Each "medicinal plant" reads much like a Wikipedia article. There are some interesting facts, but I would 100% fact check anything you read in this book with another source before using or consuming any of these plants.
Another issue is they do not cite any of their sources. How can you check their information or read further about a plant? Even if they had a personal communication, they could cite who they spoke to. I tried to look up the American Herbal Academy and could find nothing about the group online. It makes me think that someone came up with that name to try and make their book seem legitimate.

Great bookReviewed in the United States on 7 September 2020
My wife and I picked this book as we are big fans of natural remedies; my family has used them for over 40 years with great success. This book is a great reference to have around the house as many common things are described in here with great detail. We keep it in our little library and have used it for a few treatments already. The instructions and ingredients are detailed. This book will be used many times for reference over the next years; I can write that with confidence.

Must have in any herbal book collectionReviewed in the United States on 31 August 2020
This is a must have for anyone’s library that is serious about herbalism or even just for your own information as a hobby. The book is also more current than some of my books so when I look up something in those books, I always look the same plant or condition up in this one as well. Which is a good idea in any case.
