I bought a new Smart TV (75 inch Hisense Series 8). This V 2.0 HDMI cable was just centimetres too short to hook up my Sonos Beam so I connected an older longer V 1.3 cable between them not thinking there would be much difference between the two. Bad move. I lost all remote connections with the TV. Moved the Sonos over a couple of inches and switched over the cables. Viola!! It works as I had expected and hoped. Great cables. I will have to buy a little bit longer one.
3.0 out of 5 starsOK for 1080p but not good enough for a 4K signal

I guess I should not be surprised. It was right there in the name "basics". These cables were perfectly adequate for use from my 1080p BD player but when I recently upgraded to a 4K player their shortcomings were revealed.
1 item never worked, 2nd item failed after use only a handful of times - Amazon customer service not able to help as Warranty period and typical average life is 6 months. Wow! Would hate to see how long they would last with constant use !
I refunded this product. I bought it for use with PS5 and a brand new LG nano cell TV. The picture kept blacking out then back on. Afterwards I swapped this out for the stock ps5 cable that came in the box and the problem never happened again. Thus confirming that it was the Amazon cable.
At this price point, there is very little reason to spend more money on more expensive HDMI cables over these AmazonBasics High-speed cables. If you have a 3D, 4K, HDCP 2.2 or HDMI-ARC compatible device, these High-speed cables will work perfectly fine for you.
