Prime worked until 10 days ago, now all I get is 1055 error. CS is no help, they expect me to call the USA from Australia, not happening. A complete waste of time. I will be cancelling my subscription.

1.0 out of 5 stars Awesome App If You Don't Enjoy Your Privacy! 6 November 2015

Let me start by saying this: I love Amazon video. I think it's fantastic and a great complement to being a Prime member. However, when I downloaded this app (And the Amazon Underground App) it required me to give Amazon permission to my camera, microphone, pictures, videos, contacts and all other personal information that may be stored on my phone. I absolutely HATE this. And as we all know, you cannot download an app without agreeing to their ridiculous, privacy shattering and invasive user agreements. I download all kinds of apps pretty regularly and have NEVER seen one with a UA so invasive. I really, really, really love using this app but I do not believe it's worth giving up every ounce of my privacy to use it. I will be removing it and all other Amazon apps asap. I recommend Amazon change the UA immediately or people stop downloading the app until they make the necessary changes.

1.0 out of 5 stars It works but Amazon makes you jump through hoops 26 August 2016

Amazon prime video actually has a great library of shows and I love how you can download episodes for offline viewing. I frequently binge watch on the plane and I love it. That said, the user experience is terrible. For business reasons, Amazon wants to make the experience garbage for Android users. For example: it's not on the Google play store and there is no Chromecast support.

1.0 out of 5 stars Backslap to the Face! 23 December 2016

Wow Amazon!!! Terrible! I downloaded this on my phone, and I love Man in the High Castle; however this is bull****! You tell me I already got the app, yet you wont give me the option to install it on my tablet? Are you people that conceited that you can't just qork with your prime members?! Instead you force people to not be able to enjoy your service because you can't put your simple programs and I mean SIMPLE, hardly worth mentioning compared to other services of the same. Why don't you stop slapping your Prime members across the face and actually five us what you want. I swear you are the only company that doesn't cater to their clients. Give me AMAZON Video in the Google play app, or let me download this thing on another device such as my tablet!

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible 19 March 2016

Just put this in Google's play store FFS. Why do Apple users get access on tables but Android users have to suffer? This isn't going to make me buy a fire tablet, it's going to make me drop prime all together.

I can't get it to download, it takes me to a page to enter my email address and then sends me an email to that same place. Also, why do you require me to modify my security settings to make my device less secure.

If it wasn't for prime shipping, there is no way I would keep this terrible service. In fact, I wish there was a way to just pay for prime shipping and drop Amazon's "walled garden" of content delivery.

1.0 out of 5 stars THEY DON'T WANT US TO STREAM! If you want movies through prime, the "benefits" require BEND OVER flexibility. 7 September 2016

Unless you want prime for the benefit of shipping costs then realize....Not tablet compatible, not Chromecast compatible... Why do I pay for prime again?
I can't stream to my TV without stopping everything else I want to do with the device I'm streaming from but Amazon won't allow any streaming from a tablet.
I'm supposed to get all these video "benefits" along with prime shipping but clearly the twenty apps I have to download to do anything with Amazon (beyond purchase something... Right?) limits that ability.
