1.0 out of 5 stars Could This Be The Most User Unfriendly App? 10 September 2014

Big fan of Amazon but if this how they treat Android users, why bother! I had to install two apps to finally view videos on my Android device and it still doesn't work. It keeps sending me back to my browser to download the Amazon Store app that is already installed on the device. Vudu and Netflix make this app look like a joke. Are we sure it isn't an April Fools joke? Have you heard of Chromecast? Most people like to take videos on the go... Are you sure this isn't pre-beta?

1.0 out of 5 stars Not for use on Android tablets?? 12 September 2014

Come on Amazon!! Don't you realize you have Prime members who love their kindle app but happen to own android devices. I buy all my ebooks thru Amazon, and I'd probably buy digital video if I were able to play it on my tablet and not just my laptop!!!! I'm certainly not doing it if it's only on my phone! I'm considering canceling my prime membership anyway, I haven't been using it much, and since I can't access video the way I want to, I'll stick with Netflix! I can access it on my phone, tablet, or laptop!

1.0 out of 5 stars Add this to the Google Play Store, don't be a walled garden 9 September 2014

I really hate that this is not included on Google Play Store as well as an install option. This walled behavior is not only annoying, but a backhanded slap in the face. I will not endorse this behavior and this walked approach is what lead me to leave Facebook. Give us choices, do not force this adoption.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why not standalone? 12 September 2014

There is no need to force an additional install of the Amazon Store app as well. I've uninstalled both now. Call me when I only have to install a video viewer.

I can't find the chromecast button. I know Amazon isn't arrogant enough to ignore the chromecast. Right, guys?
