Too short to bring out the reasoning for the actions taken.
Can’t say as I was enthralled by this story as the reasoning for Linnea leaving was off for me but grief works differently for everyone.
Still the two main H’s were likeable and nice.

About timeReviewed in the United States on 15 November 2018
This is a second chance story & if you read between the lines fate sets it up. Lin ran out of fear & loss and Brandon let her go. Circumstances put the two of them in the same place at the same time & both of them need to come to terms with it. There's an air of danger & Lin handles it well, the author lets Brandon play a supporting role. It's quick and fast paced.

For a short story this was not bad, but a little to violent for a short story. Sharpshooter and arrogant makes was the only real tension, with maybe a glimpse of the past
