A war has broken out in Wolf City. The Vampires, Witches, and Fey have gathered together to take it over. Without the numbers to fight, Demi wants to ask the Paladin Wolves for their help. Being their Alpha should mean something right?
Ms Stone you have once again destroyed me. Each one of these books have ended on a cliffhanger, that has been more heart-ranching than the last. Just as my heart starts to mend, BAM, it’s been broken all over again. You are one very talented author and deserve the recognition for the spectacular work you do. So thank you for bringing us this highly addictive and glorious world and characters.
We don’t see much of Sawyer in this book, but that is ok as we go on one heck of a journey with Demi. This book is going to tear you apart, but it will be worth it. (Until the cliffhanger ending) But this book was a much needed journey for Demi, we really get to see major growth in her.
I seriously can not wait for’Mated Girl’ to be released, bring on the finale. I am an emotional wreck after this book and I need to see what is going to happen next.
A lot of this book is spent on Demi, alone and dealing with that as she tries to prove her worthiness as alpha. I can't say she is my favourite heroine at this point but you can't argue her toughness or resilience.
I ams curious to see what life is like now that she is back from her trial, and since so much time had passed. A tiny sticking point is Sawyers constant insistence that he can't 'do this' without his True Mate all the time. I struggle with the fact that he is seemingly so dependent then comes through as there anyway in the end.
I gave it 4 stars because it made me sit back and think. Not something I would read again but I am driven to finish out the series and see if Demi keeps this kick-a$$ lady power going.
This book is mainly about Demi and her journey to save the Paladin. You witness her grow into this amazingly strong and capable woman. The stuff she goes through is awe inspiring.
I would dare to say this is one of Leia Stones best series to date. Yeah I know big call coz she has so many awesome series. But you will not be disappointed... yeah a small cliff hanger at the end but I’m sure it’ll work itself out in book 4
I love this series, kickass female characters, diabolical villains, super hot alphas, what more could you ask?
Awaiting the final book to bring this epic tale to an end.

This book is Demi's voyage of self discovery and faith. The big question that she needs to answer for everyone is, is she worthy of being the Paladin alpha??
Demi's character growth is huge not only does she learn live off the land, she learns to face truths about herself and the world. The way she guides Sawyer as well whilst the war is going on, shows she's not the Demi who ran out of school. I loved how deep Demi's relationship became with Sage, those two are more like sisters now and the fact she became Demi's 2nd was the icing on the cake.
I loved all the trials, tribulations and surprises. The next 2 steps will bring about an epic conclusion to their tale book 4 can't come soon enough.
5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.
4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.
3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.
1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .
Demi has had to grow up so much in this book and i cant wait ti see the wrath that shhe unleashes when someone she l9ves very much is captured!
I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the fourth book in Demi's story. Five stars from me.
This book had a bit of a surprise, but was full of growth for Demi and her learning to appreciate the paladin way and people. It felt thoughtful and was glad it was given the time it deserves and not rushed by finishing with book three.
Roll on book 4, I can't wait.
This set the final pieces In place ready for the last book and I'm looking forward to hopefully a HEA for Sawyer and Demi and some love for Sage
