No action, none that mattered, no responses to questions asked (a tell-tale sign of someone who only tells stories but doesn't let them play out in front of readers) and inane dialogue, with no point.
There was no character development, because how could there be? He's a rock star, she's his muse. We're TOLD about his past marriage, we're TOLD about why she doesn't want to risk marriage to him, he says he'll try harder (that's a definite maybe, huh?), but there's no chance to know them, to go through ANYTHING with them.
And she's a NY Times award winner, etc. Sheesh.
I was absolutely thrilled to read book three of Clover Park STUDS. When Celebrity Musician doesn’t want to change his life style. They’re both taking a risk when she is afraid that their relationship won’t even last! Such an exciting romantic tale that I know is so much fun!
Griffin Huntley had memories of the times he awaken have a gorgeous nude women laying beside him. When he could just simply roll out of the bed and play music on his guitar. But now things have changed. That was his past. He knew now who that women he loved, and her name was Christina Olson. It was her he was writing his latest song too.
Christina had known Griffin for years now. They were both just so close. The music he wrote was just so completely for her. She had know worked and managed his band for years now. Until he became a solo artist. Everything was now his life was a complete catastrophe now. Griffin was a complete mess now.
Even if Griffin still wanted to marry his love, Christina how could ever believe him? He was once been a cheater once before. How could she ever trust him??
I absolutely adored this marvellous tale. Written so beautifully. I completely loved this most wonderful book. Such magnificent characters throughout this delightful and romantic tale!!!
Congratulations Kylie Gilmore
* I recommend this book to everyone!!
Christine was married once before and it didn't end well. Knowing about Griff's past marriage has her certain she can't trust him to stay faithful and that makes her steer clear of marriage. But a series of unexpected events has them both looking at life and their future differently.
Full of fun, surprises and unexpected twists this entire series is a wonderful addition to your summer reading list!
This is different than any story I have read by Kylie, though not any less enjoyable.I met Griff and Christina in Almost Married, and I am SO happy to have had the chance to read more about them. Theirs is a different sort of rocker-romance, specifically it's not the rock star falling for a fan, but a completely different dynamic altogether. This story was not only about the love between Griff and Christina, but also about the love Griff has for his family. Most of the story was centered around said family, and while that set it apart from other romance novels, it was still a Kylie-original and, therefore, an awesome read. (And I think Christina's mom was my favorite character. Lol!)Keep 'em comin', Kylie!***I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
