Product Description

The 'unparalleled romantic adventure'* of Nalini Singh's New York Times bestselling series continues as a new dawn begins for the Psy-Changeling world . . .

The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: old enemies. New allies. Wary loners.

But a century of distrust and suspicion can't be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman's cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: a child who is both Psy . . . and changeling.

To find the lost, protect the vulnerable and save Trinity no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honour even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?

It has been so hard to finish this book. I have enjoyed all her other books-love them, but this is just so terribly boring-get it from the library but dont buy as you won't want to read it again unless you need to fall asleep.

a wide ranging book. Bringing together some loose threads and tying them off... ready to start fresh for next stage of this story... Whilst it was nice to catch up with some beloved characters.. and learn more about others.. this was a bit disappointing from an action and excitemnt point of view.. the love the humour and the excellent storytellers craft were all on show as you would expect from Nalini.. but I still found myself wanting and hoping for me... Clearly this a bridge to the next stage in this saga.. and probably we needed the tying up loose ends... but I guess I have come to expect more .. or maybe I am just spoilt !?!

It took me a while to get to reading this. I was reluctant because I'm not a big fan of this type of ensemble cast stories. I like my paranormal romance to focus on one couple as it follows the overriding arc of the story.

And while it was pretty much exactly what I expected, it was well written and moving and I enjoyed it.
It gave us glimpses into many of the couples from previous books and furthered the plot into the next arc. I am interested in starting the next book but I really hope it will have a couple as the main focus again.

This was more of nearly 500-page long epilogue. Great conclusion and a lot of feel good stuff but truly not something I'd re-read as I've done with some of the other books in this series.

The hotly anticipated 'series catch up'. This is a great read for those already in love with the Psy/Changling series, providing updates on all those characters you were wondering about.
SPOILER: We finally get a meeting between Annie and her unknown hero.
We also meet the pubcups.
If you haven't read any of this series I would recommend starting at the beginning, there is a lot to catch up on if you don't know the back stories.

Sadly, another disappointing addition to a once-great series. I struggled to finish this book, and found myself flipping ahead, just hoping (in vain) it would get better. (It didn't).

Don't get me wrong - I respect Ms Singh's writing skills, and I loved quite a few of the early books in this series. They had strong plots, drama and adventure, great romance and some hot sex, without being OTT. But as the series has continued, it's frankly become quite boring. The 'plot' of this book, if it can be called that, is scattered and confusing. There are waaaay too many characters brought into the book, often just for brief moments or meetings. I got lost with all of the characters, and missed the style of the previous books, that focussed around one hot shifter/human or shifter/psy couple. And there are lots of little scenes or vignettes in this book which seem to be there just to update us on where everyone from previous books is up to. But this doesn't work as the basis of a full-length novel. For a novella, maybe, but not a whole book.

There is also a sickly sweet, sentimental feel to this novel. It's all a bit too lovey-dovey between some of our old favourite characters. Where is the drama, angst, excitement, tension? Not in this book, that's for sure. Yeah, we finally get to meet Riley and Mercy's pup-cubs, but that's one highlight in a mediocre book of lowlights.

When I first discovered this series, and ripped through one book after another, I thought I would never get enough of them. But no, now I'm so over them. The whole series has just fizzled out. Sad, but true. Don't waste your money on this one. (I wish I hadn't). get it from your library if you must, but really, it's nothing special. :(

My review is that Nalini writes great books and is right up the top as one of my fave authors, absolutely love the guild hunter books and was not interested in the psy changing books but just get upset now that I have read them all ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

It was nice to catch up with so many loved characters from previous books. Lots of stories, news, babies and hope for the future. The usual villains and challenges but with some interesting twists and turns. A thoroughly enjoyable read

InAllegiance of Honour Nalini Singh ties up loose ends. We meet more of the Black Sea group, The humans, and see the past members of this series settle into life. An easy read and enjoyable if you have read the rest of the series.
