Well written and engaging this book is typical for the genre
Alpha male alien meets human female even though she’s feisty it is sometimes frustrating and you will eyeroll at some things
Good for a intermittent reading as it’s easy to follow

After suddenly finding herself being held for sale to the highest alien bidder, on a planet she had never heard of, Sarah, becomes aware that she is one of a few human women who have been kidnapped and dragged into this slave market.
Not understanding how this happened Sarah suddenly finds herself in the hands of a gorgeous blue male, who is almost human to look at and has certainly got her blood racing, while Emma one of the other women she had been trapped with is dragged away from her, Sarah realises she has been lifted by the blue hunk and swept away from her kidnappers as he throws a few explosives to prevent them from being followed.
How come she has been so lucky.
What are the chances of finding an alien species you could actually be attracted to could this be a type of Stockholm Syndrome because there is no way she could feel so safe and secure with someone who had also indirectly kidnapped her, even if it was for her own safety.
Science fiction gives the author almost as much freedom within the context of their storyline as fantasy does, space is such a huge area of unknown possibilities a good author can create a whole landscape (world) with an adventurous species full of human like features emotions and physical characteristics that can leave the door open for a world ready to be beautifully created.
Ms Nelson Alawoona has done just that with "Alien Warriors Mate" as we are introduced to the Plutonium philosophy and personal beliefs of how important life in general is to them but especially when it comes to a female of any species these aliens believe females should be cared for and worshipped above everything else.
She has created an enticing storyline with Sarah who finds trusting anyone extremely difficult because everyone she loved on earth had died as she grew up so she tended to retreat from any close connection to stop herself from getting emotionally hurt yet here on another planet with a blue alien Sarah finds herself beginning to open up and trust on certain things.
After Korean had risked his own life to save her not just from the aliens who kidnapped her but also from every poisonous animal and plant, with alien's chasing them plus a planets weather system that could easily burn them to a crisp she finds herself feeling totally safe and secure while being by his side, she cannot understand why he is having this effect on her especially when her mind is taking her desires that one step further, there is no way they could be a match physically!!! Could they ??
How will these two end up will all the secrets they both hold be explained to each other or is this fascination just a passing faze.
An intriguing sci-fi that will keep you entertained throughout the whole adventure.

I thought this book was cute, funny , and an all around easy read.
Sara, a young woman of color had been kidnapped by aliens, and ends up on an auction house stage. She meets another woman there, Emma. Her and Emma try to make a break for it, but before that can produce results, all her breaks loose !!
Korben , a big, blue Plutonian Warrior is looking for a human to exchange for his brother and another captive of their mortal enemies, the Heroans.
But after acquiring his human.......
Korben finds out that he has his hands full with Sara, and there is no going back to the way things were !!
This book introduces several other captives, so there is much more to the story then just this book, although this book doesn't have a dreaded , " cliff hanger " , there is more story to come !!
All around a great first book of this series !!
