I enjoyed this story but found I didn’t quite connect with the hero. I will give another book in the series a try as I liked the supporting characters.
Not the usual good quality from Miss Bella. Lots of loose ends which are to be tied up - in the next book. Honestly - I won’t be paying for another book when a few more chapters would have wrapped this one up.
What is with all the cliffhangers in books lately. Grr. I really in joyed this book, but if I’d know there was a cliffhanger I would’ve waited to read it. So that’s my reason for the 4 stars. Thanks.
Been waiting to read this series until there were a few books in it and was lot disappointed! Awesome storyline and I love Bella’s writing style! Off to grab the next in the series!
I am not a fan of the writing style and got bored with this book. I understand the need to have to do flashbacks but when every second chapter is a flashback into the past it makes it harder to really like the main character and stay focused on the story. For an MC book they hardly ride bikes. I read to the end as I was hoping for a different outcome and will not be continuing with this series.
Ahhh I wanted so badly to love this book, and waited for Alaricks story. But this book didn't do what bellas others book did. I wasn't gripped, I didn't love the characters, the step brother-step sister thing isn't for me and then and now back and forth is frustrating. And then the cliff hanger ugh. The book is short and would have been so much better if both were 1 combined. Love bellas writing, but this book didn't hit the marks that I'm used to from her. Not one of my faves as I was hoping it would be. Disappointed.
Briella goes home to find her sister, hiding a secret from everyone she knows ,and finds a whole heap of trouble. Alarick now runs the club her step dad used to . There are so many twists to this and as always Bella Jewel writes hot men and great back stories. You feel like you know everyone . The one thing that marked it down for me was I spent half the book wanting to slap some sense into Briella. She's innocent in a really annoying way, doesn't want to see anything from anyone else's point of view and causes a lot of unnecessary stress. When younger I kind of her it but she's grown in the book.and nothing seems to have changed tho there is hope for redemption towards the end . I'm left with more questions than answers so gotta read the next one now ,which shows the quality of the plot and writing .

Not sure how to review this one. Enjoyable intro for a new series. Plenty of background and groundwork to other books but Bri was a total pain in the ar$e, was it the tumour that turned a 20 something woman into a tantrum throwing toddler???
I'm definitely intrigued looking forward to the next bit where all my questions will be answered really looking forward to it thoroughly enjoyed it so far can't wait for the rest
