This really held my attention

I absolutely loved reading this book, the way the author brought what is real life to so many into this story was great.
This story shows you that when true love rears its head it is amazing what you are willing to give up so easily.
This was the first book of this authors I have read and I look forward to finding more of his to read.

I received and ARC copy of this to read and this is definitely my own honest opinion.

Feel good, second chance romance with a wonderful storyline that keeps your interest from start to finish. Well-developed characters with a little action and some heartwarming scenes between Zach and Josephine make this book believable. I enjoyed this story very much.

This story was absolutely outstanding till the very last word!! The storyline is captivating, beautiful and filled with emotion. Weston Parker’s writing simple put just grabs hold of your attention and doesn't let go. The complex connection created between Zach and Josephine definitely guarantees to kept you reading and wanting to know what comes next. This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy

Author, Weston Parker is a man who knows romance. I like that it doesn't have a lot of unnecessary angst and drama.
This is a second chance/military/secret pregnancy story.

Ace airman Zach Flynn hasn't seen his friend's sister, Josephine Hart for a few years, when they meet up unexpectedly in a bar. She's all grown up and gorgeous as ever.
For Jo, this is her chance to have an evening with her long-time crush, and she takes it!
Some weeks later, Jo realises she's pregnant, but she won't ruin Zach's air force career, so she keeps it a secret.
Five years later, Zach is home for good, to support his recently widowed mother. And he's about to discover Jo's secret.

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author ..... and it won’t be the last it was a thoroughly enjoyable read . Growing up Zack had a crush on his best friend Ryan’s little sister Josephine but never acted on it . Zack left to join the airforce and Josephine joined the sea cadets , their paths cross one night when they are in the same bar . By the end on the evening they decide to share one night of passion and in the morning Zack woke to find Jo had gone, little did they know at that point that their actions would change the course of their lives . Five years later Zack returned home as his father had died eager to stay close to his mother he left the airforce and took up a humanitarian post . Since that night Jo had also left the sea cadets and was now looking after her father’s bar but she also had a little boy called Sam who was the result of her passionate encounter with Zack , Jo was also living with Brett who was a very nasty individual who is more or less is constantly drunk and abusive toward her and she was begining to think that maybe that she should get Brett to leave . The story really comes to life when Zack goes into the bar and meets Ryan Jo’s brother , as Jo is there working when their eyes meet for the first time in years it’s obvious that the spark between them is still there after all this time. After that night Zack became a regular in her bar and Jo was becoming increasingly fed up with Brett’s drunken behaviour ,knowing what she has to do with Zacks help she gets Brett to leave but as expected things don’t go well , and what will happen when Zack finds out that he has a son ? It’s a very well written beautiful love story with a fantastic ending .

It's an easy to read and pleasant love story, which flows rather nicely.
A quick read (took me just over 3 hrs), so would be ideal as a holiday read (if you're lucky enough to have one 😉).
Personally, I'm glad I took the time to lose myself for a few hours ❤️
