After Renee Lockhart appeared on the local TV dating show "Accept this Dandelion" and found the love of her life, she thought she was done with TV. But when she hears that the entire city has bets on how soon she and her fiancé will break up, she is determined to show that their love is meant to last. When Mike, the KETO producer, approaches her about airing the wedding live, she jumps at the chance. Once she is set up with a famous wedding coordinator, plans take a turn for the worse and the simple wedding they wanted becomes the event of the year. In the meantime, Eva Merida is dealing with her own life changing opportunity. Though she’s in love with her boyfriend, who she met on the second season of the dating show, she can’t turn down the chance to investigate a Hollywood TV show when offered a position. When she runs into an old flame, she questions the stability of her current relationship. Will Renee be able to prove her love for Ben to the city before her wedding falls apart? Who will Eva choose on her own emotional roller coaster? Hilarity ensues as the wedding of the decade melts into the disaster of the year. Because everyone knows weeds take over every garden…

I'm Going to Miss the Dandelions
21 November 2016 - Published on Amazon.com
Brooke Williams saved the best for last in this trilogy. Finally getting her bachelor, they set a date and while it all looks like one big fairy tale come true, add the wedding planner from hell and things start to fall apart quickly. While no one is listening to her, or even give the appearance of caring what she wants, Renee is reeling from the chaos of planning a wedding that is far from that of her dreams. Will she eventually pull it off, or will everything go awry? You’ll have to stay up all night to find out just like I did. Fabulous read by a very engaging author. I’m going to miss the dandelions.

This was a cute story--I liked Ben and Renee, and I enjoyed seeing Eva and Brian again. The over-the-top wedding reminded me a little of the ending of the "Sex and the City" movie, when Carrie had a big wedding planned, but she and Mr. Big realized that wasn't them. Also, there were a lot of silly, slapsticky things that happened at the wedding for example, the bird pooping on Renee's gown--yuck! I half-expected Lavender or Mike to get hit in the face with a tier of wedding cake. I found a funny typo about Ben putting the ring on Renee's finer--LOL. Other than he slapstick, I liked the story.

I don't think this series could have ended any other way. It was just perfect! I like how the book focused on both of the previous heroines.

I’ve read all three books in the “Dandelion Series,” and I’ve loved them all. “After the Final Dandelion” was a very satisfying story, and it had me laughing out loud on several occasions. I thought the wedding scene was so funny! I really enjoyed the characters, and I also enjoyed the author’s writing style. If you like to laugh, I highly recommend this book as well as the other two books in the series.
