Product description
Popular with coffee enthusiasts worldwide, the patented AeroPress coffee makers are a different kind of coffee press that uses a rapid, total immersion brewing process to make smooth, delicious full flavored coffee without bitterness and with low acidity. Good-bye French press! The rapid brewing AeroPress avoids the bitterness and high acidity developed during the long steep time required by the French press. Plus, with the AeroPress paper Micro-filter, there will be no grit in your cup and clean up takes seconds (also unlike with a French press). An AeroPress makes 1 to 3 cups of American coffee per pressing in about a minute and of cold brew coffee per pressing in about two minutes and it can brew espresso style coffee for use in lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso based drinks. The cold brewing capability of an AeroPress means you can brew increasingly popular and ultra smooth cold brew coffee and it also means you can brew a delicious cup of coffee even when you have no access to hot water. The AeroPress Go is the new AeroPress that includes a mug with lid that you press into, drink out of, and then use as the AeroPress carrying case when traveling, camping, boating or otherwise on the go.

Compared to the original Aeropress, the Go is shorter, meaning you make slightly less coffee. However at least on my unit, comparing it to my OG Aeropress, the plunger is far superior in the Go. It fits better into the chamber, generates less leakage, and slides more smoothly. It’s not called out on the packaging as an element they changed, but it seems to have been tweaked for the Go, and in my view for the better.
The Go has some weight to it, but makes up for it in how neatly all the accessories pack away into the included mug. Drinking from the mug is not a bad experience either, while it’s a plastic mug at the end of the day, the ribs on the outside make it nice to hold, and after a few washes on the road in hotels it still looks good as new.
If you pack this and a mini grinder or vacuum can of fresh ground coffee, you’ll have a nice consistent road setup and can evade terrible hotel coffee which plagues us all. Yes you can travel with v60 too and save even more weight, but chances are you aren’t packing a gooseneck kettle on short haul, and the Go makes consistently tasty, full bodied, EASY coffee that doesn’t require a lot of hotel space or extra items to pack.
One con: The filter holder can be finicky to keep closed. I travel with a metal filter, so it was neither here nor there for me.

If you do not already own an Aeropress, this is the one to get. If you are already an Aeropress user, unless you travel very often, I'm not sure it's worth the rather expensive £32.

The faults some people had said about rough edge on the cup have not been present on mine.. It was very well packaged and arrived promptly dispite the situation the world and the UK is in.
I have been using Costa coffee and I have to be honest... It is better than the actual coffee from Costa in the services which makes me wonder why.
Everything neatly packs away and is very easy to use and unlike other systems very very easy to clean.
I found the mug very nice to use and the coffee unit fits perfectly fine over my usual mug I use at home so no need to use the plastic one unless at work.
The papers filter on one video says you can use it multiple times so far I have used mine twice and I will update this review with a more precise figure at another time.
My only regret was leaving it so long before purchasing one.
