Trickle charger for our caravan.

We are using this panel to trickle charge the house battery (1x 120 AH) in our caravan as the caravan is covered and the solar panel does not work.
It seems to be doing a great job for a small panel and it works in low light conditions.
I am thinking of buying another one for my boat.

Lifesaver! Every time we go pick up our RV the battery is dead and we absolutely cannot find what is being left on to drain it. Since purchasing this device, that has not been a problem! When we store the RV, we simply hook this up to the battery and make sure it’s in a sunny spot. This assists The battery in holding the charge. This not only saves time and but also aggravation. Certainly a must have for RVers and boaters!

I still get enough charge to keep my batteries topped off so I don't need to keep a float charger plugged in and conncted to batteries I event set this unit on the patio and was able to charge by 60000MaH power bank backup using the included adapters.

This solar panel plugs into a “hot” 12v outlet or cigarette lighter, or you can connect it directly to your car battery. It comes with 4 small suction cups to attach to a window. It is not easy to mount and detach so I leave it permanently in my back right quarter window.
It won’t overcharge your battery according to the user manual. Low power trickle charge for keeping your battery topped off.

I bought this to use on my 19' Grady White. I have a twin battery set up, and you know how expensive marine batts can be, and I have to be charging often and it can get to be a pain.

I installed this panel and have been monitoring voltage and its kept em up nicely. It will still be a few months before I can go out on the water, so at least my batts are going to be safe

I tested the solar panel, and even during cloudy times it provided 13.1V without load. The lights on the charger actually show the amount of electricity being generated by the panel, not the charging status of your battery. The car's inner electrical system must have the lighter socket "live". This may require having the ignition switch on accessories setting. Some cars will not require ignition switch on. It takes a long time to charge a empty battery even with supply from 120v socket, thus, solar powering should be done best for cars that regularly stand outdoors and have the option to actually frequently charge. If your car has a live lighter socket and parks outdoors most of the times, than this product is right for you. I live in Las Vegas and getting lots of sun all year around means that this product works for me.
