The book is interesting and contains some down to earth advice for a young doctor who wants to be a surgeon.
I am not such a person, however, I am enjoying reading the book and have not finished it yet. I am sure I will read it several times on my Kindle.

Dr. John Hall's advice for a Young SurgeonReviewed in the United States on 12 February 2019
Wisdom is better than folly...Reviewed in the United States on 19 November 2013
I am an emergency room physician at a level 1 trauma center. I mentor a high school football player who is an aspiring orthopedic surgeon. I gave this book to him as a gift. This is a great gift to give to any family or friends you know who are aspiring surgeons. I recommend reading Ecceisiastes from the Bible and Dr Hall's book and both may help them not only in their career but, perhaps more importantly, in their life.

The Surgical Registrar
Great adviceReviewed in the United States on 26 April 2012
This short book contains some great insights into planning your training and career. It is pithy and I recommend it. The only downside is that it is let down by some poor editing with too many grammatical errors scattered across its pages.
