This stand is awesome! It's lightweight, packs down to nothing and is very stable. I have no reservations recommending this product! I would love it in titanium or aluminium instead of plastic, that whole thing about micro plastics everywhere... !
It was well packaged, and only takes a tiny bit of space to pack it for a trip way.
Set up is is quick and easy.
I tend to use my ipad a lot lately and i have to say this little stand is brilliant for holding the ipad at a good height for eye level viewing too.
Very happy with it.
This product is very light to carry around and with leveling, it makes it easy to match your eye level reducing your pain on neck and back.
One thing that I wish it was better is the quality of the plastic material. Some of the it is quite sharp and need sanding to make it smooth.
In overall, I would highly recomment this to people.

The only small criticism I had on that otherwise phenomenal product was that the minimum height is around 22cm. It's not possible to lower it further.
So here are my views on the Nexstand. Please see the photos for comparison.
Build quality is good and the stand opens and closes effortlessly. It doesnt quite feel as solid as the APzek but I have no complaints about fit and finish.
The Nexstand is slightly larger and perhaps 40 to 50 gramms heavier, not a huge margin but it may or may not make the difference between fitting in your bag or not. Check measurements.
While the APzek has softer rubber protection on the clamps and front feet, the Nextand has what feels like soft plastic on the front feet and clamps. - The result is the Nexstand may slide more on smooth surfaces and the clamp may be slightly harder on the laptop. However, after using it no marks were left on my 15" 2019 XPS. - Still, worth bearing in mind longer term and I probably would advise to buy some self adhesive rubber tape to add a bit of protection and slip resistance.
The Nexstand will adjust lower than the APzek (see photos) if that is important to you. It also has more levels between lowest and highest. The APzek has three, which I feel are perfectly adequate, minimum height aside.
Clamp size is slightly larger on the Nexstand so if you have something like a gamers machine, that's probably the one to get. It comes with inserts (hard plasic) for very slim ultrabooks though I probably would'nt use those without adding some rubber protection//tape if you use an expensive machine.
The bag it comes in a softer nylon sock style, the APzek's is more of a tent material. Both will do the job.
So, which one to choose? As both are clearly made for travelling, my vote would probably go to the APzek. Essentially you are getting the Roost stand for £50 less (but in fairness I think £70 for that product is somewhat over priced) - It's slightly smaller and lighter and a smidgen sturdier though the Nexstand is by no means badly constructed. The APzek has better rubber parts compared with the more plastic ones on the Nexstand. Both probably benefit from a little added protection. The APzek is also a little cheaper though neither is expensive for what you get.
If you have an unusually large (thick) laptop my choice would be the Nexstand. It also goes lower than the APzek so that is a consideration too.
Both highly recommended.
Hope this helps.
Highly recommended - I would buy this again. I regret not having bought this earlier. It provides various different settings and does raise the laptop to eye level, even though I am very tall. The only negative is the harsh plastic used, I am worried about scratches.
How to Use:
You simply grab both ends and slowly pull it apart. It will open easily without any force. By default it will open in the highest setting, so simply place your laptop in the grips and amend the height to your needs with the levellers.
The design is clever - lightweight, easy and fast to use while very, very effective. The design allows for air cooling around your laptop. The carrying case is useful since the stand appears to scratch very easily due to the "cheap" plastic design. The stand appears to be a bit flaky, but I have not had any problems when in use and my laptop has a good grip in the stand. The only negative are the grips which hold the front of you laptop. There is a very thin and soft-ish material used at one side of the grips, but normal plastic on the other side. I am a bit worried this will scratch my laptop over time. I am still looking for a solution to cover the plastic with something soft.
The price at GBP 24.99 seems a bit expensive. However, if you look at the alternatives and the original product, the price appears okay. Invest in your health and avoid back and neck pain with this portable product.

If you need a portable height adjustment stand for your laptop working... this is the perfectly designed product for mobile working.
Expected this to be a high quality product to support my expensive Alienware laptop. What I recieved was a flimsy, cheap stand that I wouldn't trust to hold my phone let alone my laptop. No rubber feet just cheap plastic everywhere with very poor quality hinges that will fail.
I have no idea how this product recieved nearly 5 stars. You really start to question the honesty of these reviews. Avoid at all cost.
The stand itself looks sturdy and is in fact sturdy enough to type on, in a pinch, although I would not recommend it. It has 8 different height positions as opposed to the Roost's 3, however you need to ensure that both sides are level, which is easier done with 3 positions as opposed to 8. The front hinges are fixed and non-pivoting, but for my laptop (and possibly most others) that is not going to be a problem.
All in all, a very decent stand for a very honest price.
It’s lightweight so you can fold it and carry it around with you (you will need portable laptop and mouse to enforce good desk posture) and it comes in a cool slimline bag.
Clear simple instructions show you how to open, adjust height and close it again. If you are a heavy handed individual who doesn’t follow instructions then you may have problems.
It holds laptop / MacBook securely.
Very very happy.
I never really gave much thought about looking down at my laptop but I see the benefits of raising the eye line now. It has helped my back considerably.
I wouldn't use this for any long form typing and it eliminates the portability of the Macbook. However it's very handy for those browsing long browsing sessions.
Would buy again if anything happens
Its very sturdy and easy to use. It also comes with instructions on how to fold, unfold (which is really easy to do.
Comes with its own bag so it won't catch on my clothes when travelling.
I'm a happy customer :)
