They looked used too. They had some dirt on them. They didn't come in the original box. The original box is blue. These came in a generic box. Also, they didn't have tags. I uploaded some pics.
The white pair I show is real. Look at the attention to detail. The black pair is what I got off Amazon. Look at the glue spewing from seams and the Adidas logo and registered mark are not that detailed.
These sandals are weird. Really weird. At first they appeared really cheap looking. I mean, we're talking flip-flop quality here. When I first got them, the rubber/nylon/whatever-the-heck-it-is strap that runs across the top of these, would dig into my toes as I walked, causing some wonderful blisters, and just general irritation. I really thought hard about returning these.
Now, after wearing them off and on for a few weeks, it seems like the strap has "broken-in" a bit, and doesn't dig in nearly as much as they used to. Still, they occasionally give my small toes blisters, if I walk in them for too long. It's like punishment, but for your feet.
The absolute biggest issue I have with these, never mind the damage done to my feet, is that the way the sandal is shaped, does not line up with my foot at all. The sandals seem to be curved in such a way, that my foot does not naturally "relax" into them, as I would like them to. Instead, they don't line up with my foot at all, and tend to just flip all over the place as I walk, making me feel like I need to readjust my foot with each step, which is ridiculously annoying.
I only wear these for small walks with the dog now, which is a real shame, because I hoped that these would be good all-around sandals, for long or short walks, or just for wearing around the house.
