Twirl me around and watch me spin, a modern day princess lives within…

Charisa has a perfect life. Just like her favored Princesses, she is living the life every girl dreams of: her very own fairytale, but even the sweetest fairytales must come to an end. When happiness is at its peak, fate steps in and one by one she loses everything.

Picking up the pieces to a broken life can be long and bumpy. Most often than not things get worse before they get better.

Despite her despair and the hell she’s been drug through time and time again, she finds love and begins to plan a future as none other than Mrs. Prince Charming. Convinced she’s going to finally get her happily ever after fate steps in once again and she suffers betrayal and shame at the greatest degree.

Will she give the idea of love a second chance and find her one and only or will her dark secrets prevent her from truly finding herself?

Behind every prince is a story left untold.
Look behind the mask and you’ll see it unfold…

Sawyer has lived a charmed life. He’s the catch every girl is after when dreaming of her very own storybook ending. In real life, though, nothing is like it is in a fairytale. One childhood event can forever affect how a man looks at love and relationships, even a golden guy like Sawyer.

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Isn’t that what everyone has always taught in history class? He doesn’t have time for love or commitment.
Even the most skeptical with love can sometimes find it in the strangest of places, when that one special someone catches his eye, suddenly leaving him dazed and confused.

The only way to reap the benefits of true love is to put your own demons behind and give love a shot…

When secrets start to arise will the two beat the odds or part ways and let it destroy them both?

Huh. Well, Sawyer & Cherry's story is kind of difficult to describe. I did enjoy it, but I also didn't. There's a ratio in my head of good to bad/happy to sad, and when a book is more tragedy sprinkled w/ goodness rather than happy times sprinkled with tragedy, it's just not the kind of story that I'm able to 100% enjoy.

That's the situation with this story. The flow of the story is slower but well-done. The times when Cherry is discovering herself & pulling herself up to her new career, and the times when she & Sawyer are getting to know each other and putting together a relationship are spot on & enjoyable. And there's a twist or two that I sort of thought might be the case, but wasn't sure, and they were done quite well.

Still, my overall feeling with this book was one of ALMOST enjoyment. It DEFINITELY did a good job with the feels, it's just that the ratio of happy to sad feels wasn't in my favor. : )

4.0 out of 5 stars Accepting Cherry 21 March 2015

If you are looking for a book with a damaged girl and an alpha male, this one is for you. This is a story of love, loss, and the power to overcome the cards we are dealt in life. I gave it 3.5 - 4 Stars because the storyline was there, but the execution was a little off for me. But all in all, I would recommend you give this new author a try.

Cherry had everything a little girl could want as a child, a fairy tale life down to the princess canopy bed. When life decided to throw her family a curve ball, and cancer takes her father, her mother loses everything they ever had and becomes bitter and resentful towards Cherry. Things go from bad to worse, throw in a terrible step father and a school counselor, Mr. Avery that preys on Cherry’s insecurities in the worst possible way… Cherry runs. She finally catches a break in life while working/living at a little diner, when she approached by a club owner to become a dancer (stripper). Things are starting to look up.

Sawyer is the kind of character that all of us romance junkies love, alpha male, hot, smart, wealthy, and caring. He sees something in Cherry that he needs and wants. When he is finally free of his cheating ex (yep, she cheated with his half brother Mark), and he falls upon Cherry at the club, he pursues her. The twists and turns of this will have you on the edge of your seat needing to find out what is going to happen and how it is all connected in the end. There are things that I didn’t see coming for sure and you won’t either!

You'll want to cry and raise your hand in triumph for all Cherry has to endure. This book was not only a love story between a man and a woman but a story of survival. Cherry lost her beloved father and grandma. He r mother checked out and through all her pain and abuse, she survived. Author wrote a great and touching book. Makes me want to just reach out and put my arms around Cherry and just hug her so tight. Felt so bad for the little girl she was when she lost her beloved daddy. Great story....

5.0 out of 5 stars Cherry is da bomb! 25 March 2016

I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised with Chrissy's first book. The story was engaging, touching, sexy and heartfelt. So much pain filled Cherry's life you couldn't help but feel for her. She went through so much and just wanted to be loved. Her trust issues were not unexpected. She dealt with some horrible people who crushed her. Yet I found Cherry to be a very strong character. She beat all odds and came out a fighter. Her choices, however, with stripping were not what I wished for her, but it gave her power and gained her confidence.
Sawyer was a complete swoon worthy man. Oh boy, did I love him. How he loved Cherry, cherished her, wanted her. Man, I couldn't get enough of him.
A minor twist in the story kept me on my toes and made Cherry's story even more engaging.
Well done, Chrissy!

I started reading Accepting Cherry with an open mind knowing Chrissy Snyder was a new Author I wanted to give her a chance. I know it had gotten mixed reviews but I didn't listen to any of those and wanted to be able to give my own review at the end.
I have to say it started out slow, but oh my heart hurt for Cherry. She truly was a Daddys girls and her mother was so evil. The girl had been through so much is her young life and she was only 23 and the blows kept coming. I just wanted to hold her and tell her it would all be ok.
When Sawyer enters the picture what's not to love about him? Tattooed, sweet, hot, he's pretty much the prefect man yes he has his own issues but he's such a great guy! I want so bad for him and Cherry to make it work!
Chrissy did great keeping you drawn into the story and guessing at every turn. The end will leave you shocked! I was glad I took the risk on this book. If your looking for a book the keeps you guessing this is the book for you!
