Product Description

All sins are equal in the eyes of God, but I'm not God. One sinner made me his sin, and I can't let men like him live. I want to kill them. Every. Last. One.
Ezra James is no different. I was going to kill him, but then I found myself obsessed and possessed in the most reverent of ways. I became his sinner, and he became my sin, but the wages of sin is death, so I must kill him.

The son of a whore, raised by criminals, molded to fit into a world without morals. I've never given a shit about anything until the night I watched a man drop dead at the feet of my little killer. She called to my depravity, and everything in me demanded that I take her, possess her, own her. Some monsters hide behind the faces of angels.

Damned. Broken. Irredeemable.

Through blood, absolution shall be found.

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review I don't think I can be more honest!Basically the story is of two characters Evie and Ezra they both grew up differently but in a weird way there very similar. The authors say it's dark beware if that's dark I don't want to know what the black hole is. Is it twisted? Can a sane person read this? If this makes sense does that mean you have a very weird and wonderful way of thinking or are you as demented as these two! You be the judge. You will addicted by the first few chapters in and you will turn to the dark side like all us.

I call these two characters beautiful monsters, it's very fitting!

Fark where do I start, well first off I thought reading Lili st Germain - the gypsy brothers was dark. I thought corrupt by Penelope Douglas was twisted by I'm sorry I'm only 4 chapters into absolution by LP Lovell & Stevie J. Cole and I have to say this takes the cake of the most twisted, dark, sick book and I'm absolutely addicted

You know the moment you read a 5 star rating book Absolution LP Lovell Stevie J. Cole and your head is spinning like holy s*** WTF did I just read! Like I can't comprehend how that s*** went down and some how made me addicted, intrigued, left me wanting more, and how on earth did it make sense. Like WOW!!!!
Far out I feel like I'm tripping out!

"Forgive me Father for I have sinned" !!! WOW what a book. Loved it totally, well written, and it flowed really well all through the book.
This is about Evie and Ezra. Both are broken in different ways. Evie, through her childhood, through constant abuse. Ezra shows no feeling for anyone, towards anything. He is a bad person who pimps out women to bad men who want their women to do just about anything that would make your toes curl. Evie is on a mission from God, to destroy and kill any man she comes into contact with, she trusts no man at all. Evie and Ezra meet and though they are not your usual couple, I couldn't help but like them, they definitely grew on you if that was possible at all, and by the end of the book I was waving the flag for them both !! I felt for them, I ached for them, sometimes I despised them but boy did I enjoy them.
I'm all for dark reads, I love them. I have read some of the worse, but I didn't think this was particularly an extremely dark book, BUT I did think it was very brutal, full of angst, sad, desperate, hopeful and I so enjoyed reading it. I didn't see what was coming at the end which was a great suprise, and I love suprises !!!!!!!
This is the first book I have read from these authors and now it won't be the last by any means. A brilliant book that I fully recommend to read !!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely creeptastic! 12 January 2016

I had the extreme honour and pleasure to be one of the beta readers of this book. My review is completely my own opinion.

The first words that came to mind when finishing this book: Funny. Cute. Psychotic. My first 5 star of 2016!

Lauren and Stevie were always "Should we or shouldn't we?", "What will people think?", "Will it be too much?" I said to them there was a huge market that craved this kind of screwed up dark story and that's exactly what reviews are confirming. So ladies, rock on and don't let the world stop you!

Now what to say about Ezra and Evelyn?

Evelyn well let's just say she is way past the stage of being cuckoo crazy. That girl takes religion to a whole new level.

""Evie, there's a guy downstairs with a knife through his d*ck and a slit throat." "Did you kill him?" "Answer me," "He touched me." "Then good,"

I told you she was special! ;-) The dynamic between these two and what they find redeemable and normal passes way beyond the normal boundaries of a relationship. But hey if it works for them why not right.

Ezra although he wasn't a plain man at all, was for me somewhat on a more normal level compared to Evelyn. He's what you'd call a killer you'd like to f*ck. What he wants, he gets and what he loves he protects by all means possible.

Overall this story had the right amount of "omfg" moments and an ending that was rather unconvential but suited them nonetheless.

Twists and turns will come right at you until the very end when the story comes full circle.

Be brave. Be courageous and challenge yourself to read a story outside your comfort zone. I am used to these kind of dark reads and I can definitely say you'll be able to handle it! So go one click and share your thoughts when finished.
4.0 out of 5 stars Absolution was the quintessential of dark and twisted, and every bit as delectable as any of my favorite dark romances. 21 January 2016

Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars
POV: Hers & His / 1st person
Naughty Factor: 4 out of 5

Absolution was the quintessential of dark and twisted, and every bit as delectable as any of my favorite dark romances. LP Lovell and Stevie J Cole delivered a tale so engrossing and taboo, that I couldn't help but feel "naughty" for liking it so much and making me want to sin right along with Evie and Ezra.

Evie is on a mission...To rid the world of evil men. Through her family's distorted religious beliefs, she learned at an early age, that pain is the only way to redemption. She grew to tolerate it and even ask for it. And she dishes out her sentences with precision. But when she meets Ezra, her mission becomes fuzzy. She sees him as not only a man who should be punished for his evilness, but also her own personal redeemer.

Ezra delivers the kind of pain Evie feels is necessary to be forgiven for all that she's done and all that she will do. She begins to use him as her own personal punisher...the thing is, Ezra is mixed about this. He desparately wants to deliver the pain needed to break her, but he wants to do it on his terms and not when Evie begs for it.

Throughout this story, Evie and Ezra battle for control. Each character manipulating the other to get what they want and I loved it. They were both so dark and hell bent on gaining leverage over the other that not only was it a battle with their inner demons, but a battle of wills.

It's been so long since I was so captivated with a dark romance and I'm honored to have Absolution as my first from these two authors.

Absolution by LP Lovell and Stevie J. Cole is a heck of a ride. I want to put it right out there that I feel like a twisted and sick person because I loved it so much. I even had to talk to my friend, who also read and loved, just to make sure that I am still of sound mind. I feel like I need Absolution after reading this jewel.

I am putting it out there.. YOU NEED TO READ THE WARNING ON THIS BOOK!!
I am a woman of Faith but this book deals with some really, twisted and gritty circumstances and throws in a religious aspect and I know there will be haters. I really did not even think it could be a love story but somehow this duo of a team made me believe that these two dark, and I would say, sick-in-the-head characters found love. How? I do not know. I mean seriously, there are dead bodies everywhere. However, I still had moments of laughter when these two characters related.

Great Read if you can handle it! The darkness is real, twisted, and BLOODY!!

5 Bloody stars!!!

To insanity. Those words never meant more than when you enter this book. These characters will twist your mind and make you as mental as they are. Truly f* crazy. I read this when it was released. Couldn't make my brain write the review. Just finished it again. And my brain is still reeling. Stevie, Lauren. Y'all are seriously insane geniuses. And I love you both very much. I can't think of anything to add except if you can't handle sex, blood, and two very sick people then this is not the book for you.

1.0 out of 5 stars As sick as it gets, and not in a good way 26 February 2016

Absolution is one of the darkest most evil books I've ever read. I enjoy books about the way the mind works and while I'm only giving this book 1 star I have to say the author has it down expressing how twisted the mind can become. When abuse starts in early childhood, brainwashing accompanies the abuse, religious beliefs beaten into the child, you end up one sick puppy. And Evie is all of those things in spades. She's a cold blooded killer, then seeks absolution at the altar in the church. She prays fervently, not to not commit the sin again, but to do it better the next time. Ezra is just as bent and twisted as Evie is but in other ways. He also thinks nothing of killing in cold blood when he feels justified. Between the two of them they are both just sick people. He inflicts pain in the worst ways on Evie, and she relishes it because she thinks its the only way to be atoned of her sins. This isn't a book I'd recommend if you have a queasy stomach, if you pass out at the sight of blood, or abuse or rape or anything else that's just sick. I read the whole thing just to see if there was any help for either person by the end, and sadly there wasn't. Definitely not my cup of tea, and now deleted from my Kindle.
