I enjoyed this one, but it wasn't my favourite Abbi Glines book. Sailor and Creed have an interesting past which all comes back the moment that Sailor's boyfriend moves into his new apartment and she discovers that the roommates cousin is Creed.

It was a bit of a predictable story, but there was good character development for Sailor. We didn't as much of Creed as I would've liked, I think his POV would've added more to the story. The characters were all likeable, even the ones we weren't really supposed to like at times. It flowed well and was easy to read.

There was a lot of push and pull and miscommunication which was a bit frustrating at times, especially the whole Sailor and Griff thing.

In the end it was a fairly fast and overall easy book to read.

I love Abbi Glines and when I seen she was releasing a new book I was so excited! I devoured this book so quickly, it was unputdownable! I love a story that has you hooked from the very first page!

Creed and Sailor were childhood sweethearts and lost touch after suffering a tragedy. Some years later they reconnect but they have grown up, Sailor is dating Griff. When Sailor and Creed grow close again all the feels come back. I loved getting little snippets of their past it explained so much about why they grew apart.

If you love a second chance romance with some heartbreak then I would definitely recommend this book!

Ich liebe alle Bücher von Abbi und warte meist gar nicht mehr darauf, dass sie ins Deutsche übersetzt werden, sondern lese sie gleich auf englisch.
Dieses Buch zeigt mir mal wieder, wie sehr ich ihren Schreibstyl liebe und ihre Geschichten. Ich habe dieses Buch an einem Stück gelesen!

Das Buch hat mich total mitgerissen und ich hätte ewig die Geschichte von Sailor und Creed weiterlesen können. Der Sprung zwischen heute und damals verschafft einen Überblick über die Beziehung und die Vergangenheit der beiden. Allerdings hätte ich mir hier noch mehr Einzelheiten gewünscht, noch mehr Einblick in die Vergangenheit. 4,5 von 5 Sternen.

Aber Creed Sullivan hat neben Rush Finally und allen anderen Männern der Rosemary Beach und Sea Breeze Reihe einen Ehrenplatz in meinem Bücherregal erhalten. Somit für mich ein weiteres Meisterwerk von Abbi!
